I love this section, in the other ones people get to serious but here we have fun because we take tna for what it is, but let's be honest as soon as they go to the other network (destination America, I think it's called) they're gonna become the number 3 promotion right behind roh, hell Lucha Underground could give them a run for their money for the number 3 spot seeing that their live events draw more fans than TNA.
I love the tna section, but I'm not sure if the company deserves one after falling that far from grace.

No. If TNA gets demoted to wrest, then Wrest will get cluttered with LOLTNA threads to the point where anyone who wants to talk about PWG or whatever has to go to page 5.

No, having a separate forum for TNA is good for this board. It helps increase traffic and keeps up activity.
The mods have discussed what would happen if TNA was to close its doors. It is not something we're looking forward to at all because we'd need something to replace it. Maybe a big indy, maybe a puroresu company, but it's not good for us either way.

We've also talked about keeping an archive up for TNA or doing a focused MMA forum but, all in all, we want TNA to stick around. It's best for business (Corporate Triple H notwithstanding).

I assume that if TNA ever does go under, the forum would be kept alive for some undetermined amount of time afterwords, wouldn't it? I mean, there would be a bunch of chattter about it for a good month or two afterwords.

Most likely. We'd be in uncharted territory, though. What did you do when WCW went tits up? We weren't our own board at that time. In fact, the Wrestlecrap website that we spun off of was only a year old at the time. To be honest, I don't know if there's anyone here that was part of that back then.

Couldn't you just replace TNA would ROH if they did become the number 2? I mean does TNA really make that many more threads when hell the picture thread alone is like 2 years old now.

My bad.

My bad. No problems at all. As for replacing TNA with ROH, that may be an option. However, looking at the numbers, TNA has less than half the number of threads as (W)rest but the majority of that forum is Pre-Attitude era WWF content. It's just unlikely that the next indie would attract as much. Still, you never know.

I'm conflicted, on one hand this is the only section were we are allowed to poke fun at everything and nobody gets really upset about it because it's LOLTNA, but then again I don't feel like this type of mediocrity (being a glorified indy) should be rewarded with its own section. TNA is an interesting case, like we need it here just to make fun of it.

Maybe a ROH/DGUSA hybrid section?
Though, that might eliminate a lot of (w)rest traffic.
