And did they affect your opinion of the album before you heard it?

I dunno, my favorite album of all time looked like it was made in MSPaint:

I can't remember the album because it sucked, but I remember I had (maybe still have) an album with a shitty pencil drawing on line paper, the back of the album was an off shade of pink or olive green.

It's like, how much more black could this be and the answer is, none, none more black.

The first B-52's album looks like an unfinished page from a coloring book, and the child only had the basic set of 8 crayons. Considering it was 1979, I guess you could say it was mesmerizing.

The majority of albums from No Limit Records from 1996-2000. Enough said.

Though it wasn't that bad to me, and the album is brilliant, I should mention "Cameo" by Dusty Springfield. Just a cheaply drawn picture of herself in a blue circle, is how it's pretty much described by many.

Apparently the band decided to use an unfinished version of the picture leading to the artist asking to have his name taken off. So many errors that half an hours editing would have sorted...

Were all of these rappers really high or something? I was doing better air brushing and photo editing in middle school before I was even educated in the arts. Wow. Are rap albums still this bad? I may be sending someone a resume.
