Punk is a moron if he hates all of pro wrestling, in all companies, in all countries, because he had a nightmare in WWE. I can only assume he is meaning WWE and just said wrestling instead. Maybe, but I can attest to how one bad experience in one company can ruin your passion for something. I worked a job in web design ten years ago that I can only describe as the most miserable working experience of my life. I've always loved web design, but that job killed any interest I had in doing it for years because the negative feelings from the job and the business of web design itself were so interlinked I couldn't separate one from the other, and it's only in the last 12 months that I've seriously made an effort to overcome that hump.

No, I wasn't there. CM Punk was. I'm taking him at his word. Did you listen to the podcast? Did you get anything out of that which indicated he had any intention of returning? It was already pointed out but you seemed to ignore it so here it is again: "...my suspension ended the day after WrestleMania, ok so I'm missing Mania" Why would he even think like that if he was gone? Why would he care about a meaningless suspension or missing WrestleMania when he'd be missing every WM for the rest of his life if he quit? I didn't get that he cared about the suspension at all. He never called and said, "Hey, let's talk about this, when can I get back to work?" The only thing he said he cared about was the money he felt he was owed. I heard what you posted as him meaning, "So I'm missing Mania, big deal, I already told you I don't want your match against HHH so I already knew I was missing Mania." It's two months out, matches and storylines are set, he hasn't been on TV since January: duh, he's missing Mania. He told VKM and HHH, "I no longer want to be here." He says when people say he walked out on his contract, he's an independent contractor and he can walk out on it anytime he wants. So that's what he did: he walked out on his contract. Hey, if it's important to you to believe that he fully intended to go back to work for WWE, that's your prerogative. But how anyone can listen to that for two hours and think, "Yep, ol' Punk was ready to lace 'em up again and get back in that WWE ring" is beyond me.

The doctors sound like absolute bullshit and are only there to keep up appearances. MVP would attest otherwise to that. I'm unfamiliar with what happened to MVP, fill me in.

Just finally got a copy. Will listen to it later. But I doubt it will change my opinion on Punk. I am of the mind that he finally realized his prima donna ways were not going to work in WWE,so he took his ball and went home. Then you might as well not listen to it, because going into it with that kind of narrow-mindedness, it's just all going to sound like fiction to you. Also, you're not even in the kind of position to have a picture of the situation to where you can come to a likely conclusion. I mean, getting the story from the source has got to be a lot more credible than some random person on the internet saying "well he must have taken his ball and went home".

How you can think he breached his contract when he got all his money plus more, he was suspended, the WWE lied about his status, he said he was missing Mania because of the suspension, he was sent termination papers, which a guy quitting probably would have asked for wicked fast, they f***ed around with money owed for months is beyond me. Either WWE has the shittiest lawyers ever or Punk was totally in the right.

I'm not saying Punk was going to stay, I'm just saying we don't know for sure what he was thinking. How many times did Shawn Michaels quit the WWF in the 90s but still come back? At least three times by my count. As for Punk calling WWE, well of course he didn't. He said how desperate he was for an extended period of time off at that point.

After the wedding thing....nah, Punk's not lacing up those boots again.
That slap in the face with the wedding is just disgusting. I had to rewind the cast to make sure I truly heard that.

The stories about his condition were honestly scary to me it's so sad how he got himself in that condition and got treated the way he did.
And I love how everybody even Batista himself could see that the main event of WMania was going to be awful without Bryan involved.

And they TRULY blamed Miz and Truth for the bad buy rate.Wow. They really just believe on what they want. And the doctor that was involved with Punk was really a piece of shit. Edit: here is a picture of Punk doctor at the WWE {Spoiler}

What's the big thing about the wedding? He wanted out, the WWE gave him a wedding gift. He's free.

And I love how everybody even Batista himself could see that the main event of WMania was going to be awful without Bryan involved. The thing that still baffles me about Bryan originally not being in the main event was that they spent all this time building up Daniel Bryan vs. The Authority and even when they did put him in, it worked so well right from the start. It's like they had the buildup all planned out and just didn't want to pull the trigger which seems like a huge waste of resources to me.
