I mean, Kurt's pretty cool with him, so what's Dixie's problem?

I wish they were on better terms. If Jarrett wanted to just slap the GFW name on other promotions' shows, it would've been an effective way of rebranding TNA.

I don't think it's really hate. It's a mixture of Karen-gate, the two having big enough egos and different approaches to the business.

On her grantland interview she implied that the people around her called her a dumb money mark (which is true), maybe she wanted to run tna and Jeff opposed her

She's envious of the fact that "Ain't I Great" has sold more units than anything Serg has sold combined. I mean really, it's been 19 years since that album came out they're still flying off the shelves! I can't find a copy anywhere!

1.) Dixie is such a big mark that she couldn't possibly be a fan of someone who isn't on tv 2.) I've watched enough wrestling to know that when two people own part of the company, they are always going to be enemies.

Ever since the whole Jarrett-Angle situation, Dixie has never felt she could trust him ever again. Dixie is not known for ever letting things go.
Also probably allowed others to influence her opinion of Jarrett, like Bischoff and Hogan.
Wasn't help Jeff left and has now started a rival promotion.

I don't see how Jeff dating Karen was any business of Dixie. Kurt and Karen were divorced at the time and Double J shouldn't have to spend the rest of his life alone because his wife dying. Not his fault Kurt couldn't move on.

I thought it was the other way around. Jeff has plenty of reasons to hate her. No kidding. When Jeff was told Dixie Carter brought TNA he thought it was the one from Designing Women and he couldn't be happier. You see Jeff is a big fan of Designing Women and he had plans for all the cast to come in and do a NWO style takeover which would have led to a new boom period. Hell Delta Burke and Anne Potts were so close to signing when Jeff found out it wasn't Dixie Carter the actress. And so plans for the DWO, Designing Women Order died and Jeff has never forgiven Carter since.

1.) Dixie is such a big mark that she couldn't possibly be a fan of someone who isn't on tv 2.) I've watched enough wrestling to know that when two people own part of the company, they are always going to be enemies. Oh look a jumping off point! Your first bullet point is a double edged sword. On one hand a true wrestling fan thru and thru will follow everything no matter how obscure or how removed from mainstream. Also I agree with you assertion that Dixie is an uninformed mark. She is smarter to the business than most FAN posters by virtue of her...you know actually being a promoter, but her continued foul ups with actual wrestling people makes her either a bad promoter or a money mark most likely both. One the other hand that is a very elitist stance to take. I am never going to care enough about indie wrestling to follow what happens at a Northern outlaw wrestling show in Diluth MN. I just don't care. Never have. To suggest that I or anyone who does not do that, is less of a fan or not a true fan, is rude and insulting. I have watched professional wrestling since 1983 and seen matches in every decent federation and company in North America and a few you never heard of. But I just don't have the appetite for it like I used to. So I consume small doses of TNA or WWE and if GFW ever sees the light of day, I'll sample that. I do not feel that makes me less a fan nor would I say that of anyone else. The second point you made is dead on dude. Jerry. Jarret and Lawler among others have fought for years over the Memphis tapes and those guys were partners and friends for decades. It happens. Russo and Bischoff, Bischoff and Bob Due, Anoki and umm....I forget who but they had heat over the same promotion and the other guy jumped. Gary he hart and Fritz had made a ton of money together but Hart's relationship with Ken Mantel led to Gary hart leaving Texas. Mark well what happened afterward. Texas started cooling down in wrestling. The combinations often work so well on set but behind the scenes it's a dumpster fire and hurts the company in the long run.
