I wouldn't imagine they'll ever shoot up super high in value, so don't feel too bad if you cave in. I've considered collecting, but it'd cut in to some of my other collections. I actually think it'd be a lot of fun to use the techniques people use for dollhouse making to get some accessories and have a backstage area for brawls or some 24/7 hardcore nonsense. It'd be nifty.

It's when you're still playing with them at 31, that's when you should really begin to worry.

You're a fan of wrestling, and you're collecting the merchandise, I see nothing wrong with that.

That's weird. They used the same body for both of these.

I bought a CM Punk the other night, after "the podcast". Figured I should have one, plus I feel like it's sort of sticks one to WWE. I know it doesn't.

I'm 37 and about 1/3 of my paycheck (plus my eBay sales) funds this hobby every month. Don't feel bad.

I'm 30 and just completed a mint condition Hasbro collection, complete with a mailaway Hogan still in the bag.
I was really into the Elite series for years but stopped after they changed their packaging and in my opinion, the quality of the figures dropped. Plus they just kept releasing the same guys over and over again. Sold them all off to fund my Hasbro and Unmatched Fury collection.
Point is, nothing wrong with what your doing bro.

I bet you could dress up an ewok figure into a lil' El Torito.

I had a huge collection around 2001 (21 at the time) along with a ring and Raw titantron entrance ramp leading to it. I had them off the the card, because where's the fun in that, and set up on top of my entertainment center.
I sold them on ebay eventually and moved on to vintage Masters of the Universe, which was and still is, my favorite 80s property. But now their boxed up. No room to display them (or my Marvel Universe figures) until I can get a new shelf. I'm letting Mrs. SOB have the current shelf space for her Halo Mega Blocks and statues.

It's when you're still playing with them at 31, that's when you should really begin to worry. LOL. Like a little, little kid where you keep wanting your Dad or somebody to watch you play when they're just trying to watch TV or something. YAA! *plastic clank* Oh no! RUHH!! Hey Dad, Dad, Dad.. If I could got the same level of enjoyment out of action figures, I'd probably play with them. . I just wouldn't necessarily, you know, tell anyone.

You're a fan of wrestling, and you're collecting the merchandise, I see nothing wrong with that. I'd say that's probably a lot of money to sink into it, but hey, not my money, so no objections.

Why are they still in their boxes? Whats the point of having them then? This has always been my argument. I do save the packaging though (Elites can easily be resealed), in case I decide to sell them off later. And I know I'm horrible about this hobby because I dropped close to $200 on a custom Finn Balor Elite in his NXT R Evolution gear (which I still need to build the headpiece for).
