If the committee takes Ohio St. to leapfrog over TCU, then you get the "big school bias" argument. While TCU and Baylor play in a top 5 conference, both are certainly smaller schools with less tradition in football than the other 4.

Briles said if Big 12 began season saying co-champs were the deal from the get-go, would have less issue. Now making strong case for Baylor.
Briles on Bowlsby conversation: "Don’t say one thing and do another. That’s my whole deal. … I’m not obligated to him.”

One thing is for certain, at least two very good teams are going to get screwed out of this.

I'd go Bama/Oregon/FSU/Ohio State. Outright conference champions. This would be my list as well. Yes, Ohio State had a weak schedule. So does Alabama every f***ing season. FSU's wasn't exactly brutal and they barely survived each week. I'm no Ohio State fan, but yes, the outright champs should go. If Ohio State goes, I guess I'll have to hold my nose and cheer for Oregon or Ohio State. Ugh.

This is probably a dumb question, but what are the odds FSU plays Alabama in the first round? I ask because that being the title game would be the absolute worst.

Alabama as the 1 and FSU as the 4, or Alabama as the 2 and FSU as the 3. Both are highly likely scenarios.

So, assuming those two evil entities play each other, who do you guys have winning?
As much as it pains to be say it, I think Alabama will destroy them. That defense would have Jameis completely rattled.

Wins are wins no more matter how close or easy they are. Give FSU credit for making up playing in a weak conference by scheduling quality out of conference opponents like OK State and at the time an undefeated Notre Dame to show they are trying to play a tough schedule. If only the rest of the ACC can get the memo, and start winning again

Alabama IMHO is disgustingly overrated.
The way people fawn over Bama, you'd think they were a hybrid of 2001 Miami/1995 Nebraska.
I think they're the best of a bad lot of teams.
Oregon is better than them.
Bama's secondary is vulnerable.
I am so tired of everyone giving Bama a free pass for the Ole Miss loss.
If LSU doesn't kick out of bounds last month, the dynasty is dead.
Alabama is the team that nobody has the balls to say anything bad about. The media gives them the freest of passes because of their fawning over Darth Saban.
For them, every loss is a good loss.

I'd go Bama/Oregon/FSU/Ohio State. Outright conference champions. Same here. Ohio State does have the terrible loss, but they've bounced back and just beat the crap out of a very good Wisconsin team. You've got to go with Bama, Oregon, FSU, and Ohio State.

I still think the entire season needs to be taken into account, not just how you play down the stretch. As such, I don't think Ohio State should be in the Playoff. Did they recover from their VT loss? Oh did they ever, played their asses off, especially recently. But they still lost to a team that went 6-6. They need to be held accountable for that.

The smallest gripe you'll get out of me tomorrow will be if Baylor is #4. The other two are getting major WTFs from me.
But then I said on here before that I wish the top 3 could just battle it out because I don't see a truly worthy 4th.
