It's an old school way to book wrestling. Dutch Mantel was saying when he booked Puerto Rico that he made sure that at the end of the night, that all the faces had their faces planted in the ground. Cause it keeps the heat going and people will pay to go the house shows or buy the PPV to watch the faces get their revenge. But it's weird seeing the WWE doing this so much. It used the be mainly a NWA/WCW thing. I have always understood that mentality, but it gets tiresome very quick. It's also offset when you have the live fans getting a "bonus" ending where the faces have fun and beat down heels to send the live fans home happy. (I'm curious to know when WWE started doing that with TV tapings)
