You know which Marvel characters should team up? Rocket Raccoon and Captain America. The plot could be anything, I just want to see Cooper and Evans playing off each other.
As for Spidey, if they made a movie where Maguire did all of the Peter scenes either unmasked or outside of the suit, and Garfield did all of the scenes in the full suit, you'd have something magical.

Honestly, I feel bad for Andrew Garfield in all of this. You got Sam Raimi fanboys and now the MCU fanboys bashing him for how the Amazing Reboot turned out even though he was a much better Spider-Man than Tobey Maguire. I think he was a much better Spider-Man, but a bit of a worse Peter Parker. Maguire's Parker was a lot more awkward, at least. Could be just me, but it always seemed right to me that he should be a bit awkward and shy as Parker and just let it all out as Spider-Man, the witty asshole. To be fair, I think he could pull off Maguire's Parker. If you placed Garfield in Raimi's Spider-Man it would've been perfect really. My only gripe with Webb's depiction of Parker is they didn't show how much of a science wiz he really is. Would've been nice to see him as being on the honor roll or receiving a full scholarship via his grades despite being Spider-Man.

www.latino-review.com/news/marvel-wants-a-fresh-start-with-spider-man-without-andrew-garfieldApparently if Marvel got the rights back, they would wipe the slate clean and replace Andrew Garfield. Also the main focus would be on Spider-Man being a teenager trying to deal with the problems of a dual life with the romance portion as a side story instead of being the main centrepiece of the movie. Peter Parker would also already be Spider-Man when the movie starts so we wouldn't have to go through the origin story AGAIN.

Can they possibly f*** up Spiderman anymore?
It seems like Sony really wants to try.
Raimi didn't exactly make great Spidey movies, so bringing him back accomplishes absolutely nothing. In fact, Raimi flat out SUCKS at taking helm of an already existing franchise, so please Sam...stick to horror slapstick.

I feel bad for Andrew in all of this. He was a great Spider-Man and I think he could be a great Parker if they just wrote the right material for him. They really need to keep him in my opinion.

They just need to find a way to keep Andrew Garfield as the character. The back and forth meetings I don't care about. Just keep Andrew Garfield.

They aren't going to want anyone to get confused with Amazing or have anyone think of it. From the clips I've seen he never felt right as Peter Parker anyway... Spider-man yes but not science dork Peter Parker. The best news of all of this is that they have no plans to redo his origin...Since that's one of those things that I think everyone knows and we don't need to see yet we constantly seem to get... ditto Batman, and Supeman
