The only possible reason to edit the music, and this is a longshot, is that it sounds too similar to David Rose's "The Stripper", which it is a knockoff of. They've edited the WCW knockoff themes for the same reason.

The Classics On Demand versions from about 5-6 years ago are infinitely superior. These Network versions edit Rick Rude's music to the point of removing footage. They're also cutting any footage of "No Holds Barred," which they didn't do on the COD edits. Brother Love's interview with Zeus even removes several clips that are like 5 seconds long. WWE produced NHB, so while I can understand not showing the full movie on the Network since it is on other streaming sites, removing clips is ridiculous. I'm confused on the NHB rights stuff. Yes, WWE produced, but distributed by New Line, now part of WB. So who owns what? And also, isn't NHB: The Match the only WWE "PPV" not on the Network?

When NHB was released on DVD in 2012, the New Line Cinema logo was replaced by a WWE Studios logo. WWE produced it, so they should be able to at least show clips. The Network doesn't put up full episodes of Raw and Smackdown on the Network for 30 days, but you can see highlights on the recap show they add on Saturdays.

On Classics ondemand the last episode they aired before it went away was 1/1/90 so I'm just waiting till they get to that point.

I'm so excited for these. I've been watching original NXT Full Sail stuff and going through Raws and Nitros but I need to make time for these.

So we don't the early episodes of Prime Time, 1985 and early 1986, is that for legal reasons with Ventura that is blocking it from being on the Network.

No. He is all over the Network, and they only edit him out of home video releases (when it's not too time consuming to do so), not on demand stuff. They likely just wanted to get right to the Monsoon/Heenan era.

Nope. WWE doesn't need to ever edit him from the Network because they don't have to pay him for it. They do have to pay him for home video releases, so that's why they cut him out whenever they can.

I think it's more that most fans fondly remember the Bobby and Gorilla period and barely remember the pre-Bobby episodes. The same is true with the ECW Show. It starts with the first episode Heyman booked, not the first episode.

The SOL we all remember, TV's Frank, Kevin Murphy, and all were in place starting with S2. Plus Best Brains didn't like the episodes in general.
