Holy shit, this console is atrocious. It really felt like a waste of time considering how they designed the thing. If it had come with a mouse instead of a joystick, it would have been salvageable at least Also if there was a clear button to go with the erase one.

You know, all the years this guy has been doing this and I don't think he's ever reviewed a wrestling game.

I have to admit to what you could call some professional envy toward the AVGN. Here am I still with dreams of getting into acting full time, and he has somehow broken through just with videos of himself playing Nintendo. But hey, that's the power of social media.

At least he puts more effort than a guy like PewDiePie who makes millions a year for just him on screen playing a video game

What a real missed opportunity on the Mario Paint part: Pretty sure they played part of this on one of the intro's with all user submitted versions of the theme.

I could have sworn he briefly covered an Atari 2600 "Wrestling" game during an Atari-themed ep (sports games, maybe?)

What a real missed opportunity on the Mario Paint part: He actually used that in one opening where he had a montage with fans playing his theme song on various instruments (or burping it). Awesome

He had made a lot of other videos, too, this is just what picked up popularity.

He is a very good reviewer though and his videos are hilarious. He also does put a hell of a lot of effort into his videos. The Making of an AVGN episode episodes were great, I was surprised how much time he puts into them. I've loved this 12 Days of Shitsmas. They've been a lot of fun to watch, I loved the Universal Studios one.

His brand of humour might not be to your taste, but I can appreciate the effort he puts in making videos of an overly profane man talking about video games.

But as a struggling wannabe actor, you can't help but be annoys by people who attain celebrity status through things like Vine.

Believe it or not Siskel and Ebert reviewed the LJN Video Art on their 1987 Holiday Gift Guide: siskelandebert.org/video/XWK43WB6OA73/1987-Holiday-Gift-GuideTheir review of it begins about 1:20. Btw: they also review the original NES and the Sega Master System on this episode. Their 1987 thoughts on the Video Art: {Spoiler}They say it sucks.

When even non gamers such as Siskel and Ebert think your console is junk then that should have been definitive proof of that fact right there.

Being pretty unfair to lump James, who has been making movies since he was a kid with a Super 8, in with Keyboard Cat and the British baby who bit the other kids finger. It definitely is taking away from his accomplishment, despite what you said is your intention.

My brothers and I would team up to eliminate everyone as quick as possible and then save the last guy to beat up mercilessly. Nothing quite like chaining multiple Bonzai Drops and Figure 4 leglocks one after another, just to be digital douchebags.
