So I downloaded Tinder today, I swallowed my pride and will document what happens. I'm 0/2 in my almost 30 years. So uh...tips? ![:P](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/tongue.png)

Already expect that to be the result. I don't know though. I've kept going back and forth on wether I want a relationship or not.

If you ever travel back in time, don't step on anything. Because even the slightest change can alter the future in ways you can't imagine.

Don't hold your breath unless you are the most handsome guy in the world. Tinder is a very shallow app.

Let the guy try. Not everyone is as happy about being single as you are.

I've never used Tinder, but if it's anything like OkCupid, keep casting that net because it takes patience and time to get correspondence.

So I liked two people...and immediately deleted my account.
It's obvious to me that my demands are just too much to find the right person (no tattoos, has to be in a certain height range, caring about looks way too much, etc...) I think I'm fine being single.

Everyone I know who hooked up via the internet did so through plenty of fish.
One of those friends is now married and has a baby with her. The rest had disasterous relationships after a series of hookups. So not a perfect track record, but I've seen positive results there at least. Tinder, I've never heard anyhing good about.

A friend of mine got married due to OkCupid, as well as getting a few of her hookups before that, that one seems to work relatively decently too.

Am I the only one who doesn't seem to have trouble with online dating in this forum?

Am I the only one who doesn't seem to have trouble with online dating in this forum? Nah, I've done it with some successes, ended up dating one person for a year, which was nice.

Takes more than two hours, dude. Gotta be patient. When you're ready, give it another whirl

If I can get laid, then no one else has an excuse not to be getting partners.
Let me clear something up. You are good enough. So is everyone really. People were saying you wern't in high school because they were being a$$$%^&&. They were wrong. Don't get hung up on the whole "I need to be that or I need to have this" bs. You need to just be there. Let them decide if they will like you or not.
1. Women are individual people with different preferences. Some wont like you. Don't cry about it, look for one who will like you.
2. Talk. Talk. Talk. Let them get to know you. Even friendly chat is better than nothing and at least your talking to a girl. How many women do you talk to? Honestly?
3. Don't chicken out.
4. Never be in awe of the opposite sex. They are just people like you. Also don't sterio type, loads of girls play games and hate shopping you know.

I've considered using Tinder when I'm having the occasional dry spell (I.e, now), but I can never bring myself to go through with it.

You gave it only 2 hours? Online dating requires time, effort and patience re-install and leave the app running for a month even if you do nothing with it you should get some views at least to work off. (Okcupid at least works like that in my experience.)
