40, getting close to that 5. I have thin hair where it shows baldness; kinda looks a bit like Bob Holly. I get a haircut twice a year. Took it all off this summer to see how it looks. Wasn't bad, but the wife hated it. (She likes having something to grab. ) I'm not sweating baldness. It doesn't define me, I get crewcuts anyway.

34, with a solid 3 hair pattern. Fortunately, I look swell with a shaved head so that's how I get around it.

My hairloss is different. I've lost hair in the top/back, kind of in the area where you'd put a Yamaca on, but I still have my hairline in the front. If I grew my hair out, I would look like I have a full head of hair from the front, but it would look balding in the back. I should say that I just shave my head.

I'm 29 and I guess I'm a 1? I've had a widow's peak my entire life, but as far as I can tell, it has never gotten worse. If it has, I can't tell/haven't noticed. Going bald is probably one of my biggest fears in life, which is pretty vain and silly, I know. I've also always had a weird 'U' shaped crown. My mom has the same thing, so I guess I got that from her. My dad is bald, but every male on my mom's side of the family has full heads of hair. For example, my Grandfather is 85 and has a great head of hair. Just magnificent. I've had a doctor tell me that, most of the time, it comes from the mother's side, so I hope that's the case. Looks wise, I look more like that side of the family, so I don't know. Like I said, my dad and all of his brothers were bald. They all went bald at around 20-years-old, so I'm hoping I dodged that bullet. As I said, I'm extremely paranoid about it all. I count hairs I lose after showering and hairs on my pillow in the morning. I usually lose less than 50 per day, which from what I've read, is normal. Hell, I don't even wear hats out of fear that it'll cause me to go bald. I probably need therapy. Lots of therapy. All of this fear mainly stems from a time when I shaved my head in middle school (Stone Cold and Goldberg were hot shit). Saying it looked terrible and my head is weird looking would be an understatement. I know if I ever start losing my hair, I'm shaving my head and growing my beard out Obadiah Stane-style. Thankfully, while my hair has thinned gradually, my facial hair ramped right the f*** up. I feel like I could probably grow a beard like that in an afternoon.

I'm 23. Got a 2 in the front and a 3 vertex at the back. Got thick long hair, though, so it's not visible all the time. Bald patch has been there since at least 18.

Probably 2? Oh, I'm 31, 32 in a month,
I never had much hair there anyway, it's creeping a bit, but I have obscenely long hair at the moment anyway, so it doesn't matter. It's too long for a guy my age, but I like it, so it's staying for a while.
