With a lot of negativity around, well all the time on the internet, thought it would be cool to remember all the stuff that made us happy this year whether it be in your personal lives, in wrestling or your other interests. I'll be updating my list as I keep remembering more things.
Getting a new job after a few frustrating months of looking Going to Paris & Amsterdam Being at Wembley to see Arsenal win the cup The World Cup in general, very entertaining, especially Brazil v Germany Wyatts v The Shield Daniel Bryan winning the title at Wrestlemania Sting showing up in WWE Dean Ambrose being the most likeable face in years..well apart from Bryan Damien Mizdow...just Damien Mizdow Prince Puma v Johnny Mundo Guardians of the Galaxy film and soundtrack Dawn of The Planet of The Apes Royal Blood Slipknot's new album thankfully being very good Brooklyn Nine Nine Getting a Spotify account (Don't know why I didn't do this sooner)

Actually working. Also, Web Soup reruns were basically what my life was about the first half of the year. They're gone now, but they were fun while they lasted. And Greece advanced for the first time in World Cup history.

One of my favorite years in indie wrestling in a while, especially since WWE has been falling off big time since late 2013/early 2014. Bullet Club (gaining Omega was HUGE) & NJPW really came into thier own. PWG had a stellar year and I traveled to L.A. to watch ELEVEN. Chikara returned. Lucha Underground debuted. I finished covering about 80% of my forearms in tattoos (Big Trouble in Little China, Regular show, Misfits (show), Morning Glories (comic) referenced pieces) during my vacation this summer. Something I'd been putting off until the job situation stablizied.
Got deep in the JCVD's film history for my JCVD Podcast.
I also connected with more musicians and actors around here to do music videos and shorts with.
On the TV front: netflix really came correct this year with OITNB s2, Peaky Blinders, Bojack Horseman and a bunch of other great shows.
2014 was actually a pretty fun year for me all around. I'm really looking forward to 2015 too.

I'll be updating my list as I keep remembering more things. Sting showing up in WWE I don't recall this. My return to FAN was lauded by many. Of course you don't. Because he said just "Sting" and we all know it was THE VIGILANTE STING who debuted for WWE.

the main thing for me has been my daughter. her autism has weighed on my mind for the past few years, but this years its been clear that she is much more functional then we first thought. for that i am so very grateful.
i've lost about 40 pounds this year, i got 30 more to go but its a great start.
3, count them 3, cruises this year.
Guardians of the Galaxy and Captain America TWS.
i haven't gotten to watch peter capaldi as the new Doctor as much as i'd like, but what i have seen is awesome.
oh, and i joined this site called F.A.N. and met some of the coolest, nicest, zaniest and funniest people around. and they've put up with my weirdness, which makes them even better.

- It's almost over.
I hate to be negative, but holy f*** this year sucked for me. Every thing went wrong. Had a house, thanks to insurance problems, we had to back out at closing. Then not long after that my dad was diagnosed with cancer and it just sort of snowballed into hell after that.
But no worries. 2015 has no choice but to be awesome.

- I finally built a new computer for myself, after having spent years using terribly obsolete hardware. It was great to finally experience things I've been missing out on for over a decade! The downside is that I now must pay a hefty shipping fee to get the computer to the place where I am moving to.
- I finally got into the line of work I'd been pursuing and working my butt off to get into. The downside is that line of work proved to be so unforeseeably and unnecessarily dangerous that I felt compelled to quit for the sake of my own health and well-being, and am now left with expensive tools that I have no use for and have not been able to sell.
- I studied very hard to pass an exam required for the best-paying job I've ever had. The downside is that the time, effort, and money I spent preparing for and taking the exam ended up being for a different job that I had to leave for the same reasons I stated in my previous entry. It sucks that none of the jobs I worked so hard to attain ended up being worth keeping, but at least I can be content knowing that I explored options and did what I could to better my life. Life has a funny way of closing doors to point one in the right direction...
- I initiated a phone conversation for a certain member of FAN to offer career advice. Said person's ensuing experience compelled me to re-think the line of work I was seeking.
- After spending much time and effort trying to sell my car, I finally succeeded in doing so. I got the minimum amount of cash that I was willing to accept.
- I saw Brock Lesnar beat The Undertaker at Wrestlemania. The match wasn't the greatest match in the history of wrestling, but I wanted Brock to win, and it was nice to see him get the victory (and convincingly, no less).

This was an awful year for me, but it was also vital as a building period. Going through everything sucked, but now I am healing, and things are finally falling into place. That is not to say it was all bad, because I moved somewhere that I am much happier, completely removed the albatross that is my family from around my neck, and I'm back on track to living something resembling a normal life, but it was hell getting there.

Forgetting nerd stuff, I have to go with getting my own spot with nobody to answer to, finally getting over my ex, and having frequent stupid hot sexy time with my crush. Life is still scary and uncertain, but at least I'm getting a win every once in a while.

For not being 2013. Seriously this has been a pretty good rebound year for me for the disaster of 2013 was for me.

I finally got to see two of my all-time favorite bands live for the first time (Local H and Everclear).
Also music related, I went to my first Warped Tour. It was about 15 years later than I had planned but better late than never.
Started a new job and made some new friends.
Went to the Royal Rumble.
Overall, not a bad year. Not as good as 2013 but it would be hard to top 2013 for me.

First and foremost, I finally got off of Adderall after ten years. Sure, it took five days in county jail and drugs supposedly made to ween junkies off of heroin, but that's neither here nor there. It's still something that I'm proud of. The wife and I also got to go back home - the first time in four years. I'm also more comfortable with my gender issues, which generally makes things easier.
And one more thing worth mentioning: My brother was run over on the Mayan Doomsday. He spent almost eight months in bed/various chair fuel to a severely screwed up leg. He basically had no life for a year and a half. In September of this year, he started nursing school. He's losing weight, walking almost normally and is easily the happiest I've seen him in years. So yeah... That alone pushes this year into "good" territory.
