I do....and NXT, but I do the ppvs for the 5 I care about (Rumble, Mania, MITB, SummerSlam, Survivor Series)

I listen to Review a Raw and occasionally I'll listen to What's NXT but I stick to watching special events. I'll sometimes have Raw on in the background but I don't pay much attention to it.

As boring as shows are, I'd be even more hard pressed to care about ppvs sans context.

Has there even been a PPV this year that didn't have at least half of the same matches as the one before it? I'm sure someone will prove me wrong but I honestly don't think I can name one PPV that's had more than 2 match ups that we hadn't either 1) seen on the ppv immediately preceding it or 2) on television the month immediately preceding it. They could have almost just replayed these matches every month: Cena vs Lesnar Ambrose vs Rollins AJ Lee vs Paige Rusev vs Swagger Ziggler vs Miz Nikki vs Brie Usos vs Dusts *One random match featuring Sheamus/Orton/Cesaro/Kane and/or Henry

As boring as shows are, I'd be even more hard pressed to care about ppvs sans context. Thats why they have those awesome video padkages before the important matches.

Rasslin is boring this year.

Rasslin is boring this year. I suppose it didn't help that, at a time when the WWE roster is extremely thin already, Bryan, Reigns, Ryback and Barrett were injured, Orton and Ambrose left to do movies at various points and Bray and Cesaro were criminally underpushed heels. Seriously, the fact that Ziggler STILL didn't quite break through with all that empty space above him is downright aggravating.

There's pretty much no point coming to a site like this if you do that, because all the stuff we talk/joke/Make reference to are little things that happen on TV. Fair enough if that's how you want to watch the show, but a million jokes and threads must soar over your head on this board. I haven't watched in 6 months (outside of catching the end of the cage match this past week) and it hasn't stopped me.

I don't think it makes a difference. I've been doing this as of late, and either I watch a PPV and it disappoints me, or I watch a good PPV and the follow-up disappoints me. Over-saturation is not the problem, it's just bad storytelling and horrible mismanagement.

I didn't watch between Raw 1,000 and the Raw after Mania 29 (except the Rumble) but I still liked hanging out here. And I haven't watched since the night after Survivor Series now but still tend to enjoy myself.

Due to me not having cable all year save for about a month ago I've pretty much done this since WM30. But I have it again so I'm a regular watcher again

Honestly that's what I do. I'm mostly busy on most Mondays and there's no reason for me to watch Smackdown.

Anyone else on the PPV/Raw after PPV plan like myself? I find it fulfilling. That and any Network exclusive specials that catch my eye.

Did that after Money in the Bank, almost SummerSlam since I also watched the week after, Night of Champions, Hell in a Cell, and Survivor Series, watched the PPVs themselves and the show after them but nothing more and didn't even bother with Payback, Battleground (though I've seen it since), or TLC and didn't watch the shows after them either. Really been the norm for me for the past few years.

I would totally do this if my girlfriend didn't like watching Raw and Smackdown. Hell, I'd have cancelled cable entirely a long time ago, but she likes watching wrestling and Real Housewives.
