Not only is the cut horribly done (they finally smoothed out the jump cut in the audio in the BluRay release), but Scrooge's counterpart song at the end of the film makes little sense without it. That's pretty lame, Disney. That's why I'll stick with my DVD copy from 2005 which includes the extended film (albeit you have to choose the full screen version to see it, because that's the version they showed on Television airings.)

The first version of A Christmas Carol I saw as a kid when the old specials were still aired on the Disney Channel. I wish this would air again, or a new version made. Since this was based on a live special made in the 60's, it could be made again. NBC doing this live would be better than the version of Peter Pan they did.

George C. Scott's Christmas Carol is probably my all time favorite.
I also love Scrooged as well as Mickey's Christmas Carol (I wonder if kids know who 1/2 those characters are these days.)
