Well you know how fans can get? Requesting stuff that the content creator says they will never do until they finally relent and do it.

Well not a bad review, it felt like the old reviews, it had very little sketches, so it is a nostalgic Nostalgic Critic episode.
Though I wonder seeing the opening, maybe Doug's curiosity might get the better of him, he might want to check out the Care Bears series, I tell you the klansmen wizard from Fantasia as he calls him he is awesome. If you like Dark Heart, you are going to love No Heart, or as I call him NOOOOOOOO HEARTTTTTT. He is one of the most scariest awesome villains in a little kids show, he is the Tirac of Care Bears. And Beastly as a comic relief henchmen villain he can be hilarious, I tell you I can't help but root for that game sometimes and to this day I felt he got ripped off in the Care Bears games, they never had any proof he cheated, it is not fair, you stupid Care Bears. But he is best in small doses, I wouldn't recommend marathon Beastly centric episodes, he gets annoying if you watch him to much, as for Shreeky, best to avoid her, a jump the shark character if I ever saw one and giving his feelings on Sailor Moon and specifically the title character there is very little redeeming qualities to her.
Okay as for the movie, well good review, I knew he was going to say something about the black face joke, and that is why Grumpy Bear is everyone favorite Care Bear, he is the Raphello of the group, and most people love him. And yes everyone hates Hugs and Thugs. I would love to see them get heads chopped off, I think Wonderheart Bear is a improvement over Hugs and Thugs and Wonderheart Bear I don't like to much either. I love the I don't care director.
I can't believe he didn't mention the ending and the narrator being the grown up version of a character in the story is a ripoff of the first Care Bears movie, though maybe Doug was so not interested in the movies that he doesn't know about those twists. And I guess he is not a big fan of Tara Strong as I am, she is one of the best voice actress in the business today and this is one of her early works, but I guess most of her famous characters were in the 21st century, so Doug might be too old to know most of her famous characters, I know he didn't get into Teen Titans, but I thought he is a big Powerpuff Girls fan, oh well.
So the last Care Bears movie, though there is still the Land With Feelings and The Freeze Machine since now he opened the pandora's box to specials.

Another Nutcracker animated feature: The Nutcracker Prince. By Kevin Gillis, of Raccoons fame.

As an animation/voice actor geek myself, I've noticed he doesn't tend to go *that deep* into talking about voice actors in the cartoons he reviews. But I imagine he might think that's "too inside" for the regular viewers, and it could distract him if he pointed out many or all of the voices. He'll point out the obviously famous people (John Cleese as a French frog! Mickey Rooney voicing that Care Bears guy who makes the creepy face with the kid on his lap!), but I'm not shocked he didn't point out Tara Strong. Meanwhile, he did post a comment & link about Christine Cavanaugh on his FB page yesterday, so he definitely knows the material and names. So I think he dials it back in that regard in his reviews.

Wasn't this movie in his 'Top 11 Nostalgia Critics I Will Never Do'? Not that I mind. Yeah, I recall him saying he wasn't going to do any more Care Bears after Care Bears in Wonderland Was that before or after the reboot? If before, I recall him saying that when Critic returned, all bets were off the table, he wasn't sticking to his old rules on what could be reviewed and he was going to start reviewing whatever he felt like.

I admire Doug for getting all cleaned up while sick to make that two and a hald minute video. If that was me I'd have a five day old beard, wearing the most rattiest t-shirt imaginable, I might not be wearing pants and I'd be surrounded by empty containers of iced tea and wonton soup.
