WHAT'S THE BETTER SINGLE SERVING COFFEE MAKER FAN!!!! I like how Keurig has more coffee brands but Tassimo can make more shit. This is the hardest decision I ever faced in my life.

Well Keurig is clearly better because I have never heard of Tassimo I have one at home and my company has one at my office... can't complain about the Keurig. Also Nespresso is sad to have been left out of this discussion...

I own both of them and a Nespresso.
I like all of them.

I was an early adopter of Keurig. It's really all I know and I've enjoyed it.

I don't know about the other types, but I enjoy my Keurig. I don't drink coffee so I've been using it for hot chocolate while my dad and brother drink coffee.

Keurig, though none of that 2.0 shit. At least there's ways to bypass that obnoxious RFID thing.

The keurig coffee making is one of the best investments I've ever made, up there with my house and my car's extended warranty. I guess the issue for me is, I never had a tassimo machine, so I wouldn't know much of the difference, and my guess is the thread is people who have keurig over tassimo instead of which one's better.

I have to say neither, just get a french press. French Press is pretty great and the quality is better, but it's hard to beat a Keurig's convenience.

Keurig, though none of that 2.0 shit. At least there's ways to bypass that obnoxious RFID thing. So Keurig 2.0 basically is a newer product but it gives you more restrictions of what you can buy right?

Pretty much. Keurig wants to make sure they get a cut of every K-Cup sale so official licensors now have RFID chips in their K-Cups. So any unauthorized K-Cup-alikes that worked with older Keurig machines won't work with the 2.0. That's why the newer K-Cups have that silver circle on the lids now. It also restricts the "use your own coffee" cups you can use.
Mind you, this is incredibly easy to bypass. All it takes is cutting off the silver circle of a used K-Cup and taping it to the machine to trick the sensor into thinking any K-Cup is an authorized K-Cup.

I guess I will stick to my pre-2.0 Keurig machines.

I had a Keurig, and currently have both a Tassimo and a CBTL machine (Caffitaly in Canada). Out of the three, the CBTL produces the best coffee by far. It's also the hottest. The pods are hard to find in stores and the online selection is limited, but the pods can be refilled and are dishwasher safe. Oh... And the Starbucks Verismo pods can be used, albeit with a little molding.

Both suck in my opinion. For summer time - its all about cold brew (not the watery garbage coffee called "iced coffee") For single serve in the winter though, I'll usually stick with a beehouse ceramic coffee dripper. It takes a little longer but tastes much better.
