David Otunga and Mason Ryan. There I said it.
Well, not really. At least not for Mason Ryan. Otunga on the other hand had a great look was at least decent on the mic and was improving in-ring the last time he was really active wrestling on TV in 2012. As long as they didn't try to push him as the next Cena or something, I could think of much worse than an Otunga push. Not really disappointed we didn't get it, but I'm a little curious about it. It seems like one easy to poo poo, but like I said he had some positives and showed some improvement in the ring (though he was by no means good).

They should have done more with Otunga, agreed. He had a good character.

Otunga was straight up garbage in the ring. He never improved. At all.
I do miss the coffee mug and all the OREOs.

Otunga at least had an interesting look and gimmick going for him, however bad his work was.

Otunga's still around, right? I mean I know he's disappeared from TV, but he's still employed as far as I know.

I'd have loved to see how Tito Santana would have fared as WWF Champion in 1992 (as rumoured by Bret Hart in his autobiography)

Lance Storm. Told by Steve Austin; "they're gonna strap the rocket to ya kid".
Rhyno. Let me get this straight, Spike Dudley gets pushed over every talented cruiserweight...but Rhyno hits the glass ceiling a year in? Cornette face.
Shane Douglas...you know what? Nah. Forget Him. If he was so smart and so ready he would have known better than to piss off the clique.

It's still amazing how badly WWE f***ed up with Cesaro. Vince claims that they don't know why he's not connecting, but he already was when he won the Andre the Giant Battle Royale at WrestleMania and got that huge reaction. All they had to do was break away from Zeb Coulter, give him a decent theme, and Cesaro would be main eventing shows right now. But they just had to put him with Paul Heyman (not at all a knock against Heyman) and it just fell from there.

Well in a way the Kliq liked to mess with guys like that, they did so with Flair in WCW. Another thing, Douglas would have needed to get rid of some things over time like Austin dropped Ring Master for Stone Cold, Douglas would have needed to drop the Teacher stuff.

In a way, I understand why they might have put him with Heyman since they don't seem to think much of his mic skills so they thought Heyman might give him a boost but he clearly was ready for a face turn and Heyman was never going to turn face because Brock was coming back. On the surface it had some logic to it but it just did not work.

On the surface it had some logic to it but it just did not work. True, but then they went and set Cesaro up to fail by having Paul only mention Brock Lesnar defeating The Undertaker with Cesaro standing right there. Paul Heyman was barely even a manager to Cesaro right from the start in that regard.

Was a push for Otunga ever really in the works? He almost seemed like a subtle rib on Vince, especially with how they booked him in NXT. He existed almost entirely so that Barrett had somebody to outdo.

Fandango was supposed to win the I-C title before being concussed by that asshole Ryder and Vince was supposed to be really high on him after telling him his life story or something.
