Strap the rocket to Dolph he's ready. 4 weeks left. No way they can salvage Ambrose he lost his edge and Reigns can go punch a wall for all I care.

Again this is one of those things where I'm not sure what the solution to it is... You have all these guys trying to rise up the card (Ziggler/Harper, Rusev/Ryback and Ambrose/Wyatt), but they're all feuding with each other... meaning that for one of them to convincingly WIN the feud and have a chance at progress, the other has to LOSE and basically stay where they are, which brings the dreaded "burial" into play to some people for some reason. But then you can't have them feud with the veterans on the roster like Cena, Orton, Big Show, Kane, Henry etc. because nearly everyone is sick of them and want them to retire. So we end up with all this 50/50 stuff where nobody really wins, nobody really loses and nobody goes anywhere. And I can see how frustrating that is. They can have the guys rising face each other but when they neuter a character that's where it's over. Ryback 2013 but they were able to change that. Ambrose looks like a dumbass. I really don't want to root for a dumbass.

The problem is that WWE's booking actually keeps everyone at the same level so no one gets over. What we saw tonight was a prime example of parity booking. Nobody got over, both guys are in the exact same spot they were in before the match ended. So what if a guy has to take an L for someone to convincingly win a feud? At least you have one new star out of it. One new star is hell of a lot better than no new stars. Those people that cry "burial!" every time someone loses are straight up wrong. You have to crack a few eggs to make an omelet. One decisive loss is not gonna kill a guy's career, I promise you and everybody else reading this.

Randy Orton and David freakin Otunga had better christmas street fight than that hot garbage main event Wasn't even really a bad match, I thought. They worked hard but it was just...there. These guys have been feuding for months but that didn't feel like a big encounter at all. it was an ok match, but they didn't do anything creatively. Even with the fancy environment they had their usual hardcore match. Compared to the silly but fun matches that Cena/Del Rio & Orton/Otunga had, this was a huge letdown. I get it this a serious feud, but they could have done more with the environment

The only one, right now, that would make sense is Ziggler/Harper because Ziggler lost the title after getting screwed, wins it back in a hard fought match and retains it in another close match that ended clean. Of course, they could decide to have Harper face Ziggler another million times and completely ruin that. As it stands, Ziggler won the feud clearly and was established as the better of the two. Rusev/Ryback could go either way since they haven't had a match yet and depending on how they do the finish it could be a case where the winner is clearly the better of the two. Then you have Ambrose/Wyatt where they're literally trading wins every week (and in some of the dumbest ways possible) which accomplishes nothing except saying that they're both goobers. On top of that, there's no end in sight to this feud ending! I mean, pretty much the only way to make a mediocre feud worse it to make it a mediocre feud that never ends.

I always hated this phrase, but in this context, works perfectly.

...Knowing that, Wyatt and Ambrose will probably have a Good Housekeeping match next week. I hope Wyatt tries to use a Guitar for the finish, and then it gets overruled because a Guitar is not a household object.
