........so the premise of these vlogs is that Linkara sits down for 20-25 minutes and reads an entire issue?
And they're all shitty comics at that?!
I wanted to be in until I started watching KAMANDI: AT EARTH'S END.............part 1 of 6.
I mean, I've read KAMANDI: AT EARTH'S END. Regrettably. But he spends a total of 2.5 hours talking about the entire 6-issue miniseries?? I spent less than the time he talks about one issue reading the entire miniseries.
I want to like this premise. I really like Nostalgia Critic, who he crosses over with sometimes, so it's a great idea to watch someone do "The Critic" for comics (either good or bad).
But the slow pace is killing me, and Linkara's delivery seems like watching, well, me doing a vlog series about 1 lousy comic at a time.
Are there any really great videos he does? Breaking down a big series of comics in a relatively short span of time? Is there anyone else who does this kind of review like that?

He's hit or miss with me, when he's doing really out there stuff like the one he did recently about the Jell-O Man comic than it can be really funny but his stuff on more run of the mill stuff like KAmandi is kind of boring.

Any Miller Time (Frank Miller stuff), his secret origins months (where he talks about the first issue in which various heroes appear), and most of his multi-parters are good. I don't really like his reviews of Kamandi, but Superman At Earth's End? AWESOME!

He's not really very funny to me, which kills a lot of the appeal. When he's being serious about it, like in the Cry for Justice series, he actually has some pretty good insights and points, but he'a never really laugh-out-loud funny and he picks a lot of comics thar aren't really comically bad, just dull.

I think his best work is his riffs on the first few Tandy Computer Whiz Kids comics, that's about as funny as he ever gets. I also don't really like his "storyline" stuff where he plays dress up and is his own Mary Sue self-insert but he usually makes that stuff easily skippable so it's not too bad.

He's not really very funny to me, which kills a lot of the appeal. When he's being serious about it, like in the Gay for Justice series, he actually has some pretty good insights and points, but he'a never really laugh-out-loud funny and he picks a lot of comics thar aren't really comically bad, just dull. Sometimes he makes me laugh a lot, like his Irate Gamer parody ("BREAKFAST IS RUINED"), but sometimes I know I know I'm just going to get bored and end up finishing a video early. Still, I can understand his appeal and I like that he does what he does.

I've tried watching some of his reviews but good god he's as funny as food poisoning.
Brad Jones is about the only funny one, I like classic NC but I'm not overly fond of his newer stuff.

I really only watch his Miller times, Secret Origins, and the occasional other comic episode. Linkaras best show easily History of Power Rangers.

Some good suggestions and I'll add Marville...particular by about issue 4 the build-up of insanity goes critical.
The big events of One More Day and Holy Terror I think he really nailed well.

The Marville reviews were ok, but they devolved into ranting with no real jokes too fast. At least his reviews of 90s Liefeld stuff had jokes (and 90s kid!).

Had a similar topic awhile back where I also asked for good episodes of his: officialfan.proboards.com/thread/509128/best-atop-fourth-wall-episodesLiked those episodes so much that I am currently going through his entire catalogue (have now finished his first Secret Origins month back in 2010). His humor appeals to me and I like how he keeps his "skits" at the beginning and at the end of his vids (unlike the "new" Nostalgia Critic)...unless of course that changes over the course of his series when I hit 2013/14. Though I have a question at that point in the series: Will that curly-haired dude disappear one day? He did a review in Linkara's "absence" and good lord, he is unfunny. Yet he keeps reappearing from time to time. Is he like the Jerrid Foiles to Linkara's Brad Jones or sth?

He first appeared in that "Chain Gang War #1" comic where he covered for Linkara and also did part of the "Ewoks #9" review. After that, he appears from time to time. The last appearance of him I saw during my current run was during the "Action Comics #1" review (I think) where Linkara used him for an "I AM A MAN" joke.

Have to say, after 110 episodes I have watched so far of him, the only character of his that baffles me is Harvey Finevoice.
I get 90's Kid, I get Pollo but how does a Frank Sinatra-style character clues into everything?

At first Liz was going to do videos, but during filming of the crossover special "Suburban Knights" she realized she preferred to do behind the scenes stuff. She had a cameo recently and that's about it for her.
