Outside of my grandma passing away (at least her suffering is over) 2014 has been a very good rebound year from 2013 and well just a good year in general for me. Hell this might be one of my most important years ever in terms of milestones, skills learned, and choices I have made

2014 was honestly the rollercoaster from hell. Anything that was good came crashing down at mach speed.

In 2014 I got my first job and earned over $7000 already. That alone makes it the greatest year of my life.

Honestly, the best thing that happened all year for me was coming out. Other than that, it was mostly depressing and painful

Yeah, great year here. Lost a tonne of weight through a simple adjustment of diet and exercise... Took a few great vacations... Made some great friends, and re-established old ones.
Moved to an awesome new flat with my wife. We had a loft before, but it was getting too small. Not enough floor space.
My new project at work allows me to work from home. Nothing feels better than closing a transaction while not wearing pants. Or sleeping in right until 8:59.
So yes, 2014... pretty great after a few years of mediocrity wrapped with irresponsibility.

This year has probably been the best year of my shitty life. I find it highly ironic that it seems to have been such a bad year for a lot of people.

2014's been dope.
Got in better shape (although there's still work to be done)
Did volunteer work, met cool people.
Made some new friends.
Got a writing career going.
Had my grades go down then up again.
Checked out college options.
Entered a relationship with a girl I've had a crush on since last year.
2014's been pretty solid for me

It's been a mixed bag of a year broke up with a girl I had been dating for the past 2 years job cut hours which cut some of my pay didn't get to write and perform comedy as much as I wanted to
But on the other hand..... Got to meet some really cool new people and dated a few really cool and funny women may be in the market for a better paying job which was originally revoked due to hiring freeze ending at local hospital have writing gig for a friends podcast in the pipeline for early next year along with starting up a writing group and taking more sketch writing classes in the new year got to visit family in PA along with going to Philly and volunteering at UCB's Del Close Marathon.

I got divorced in the summer and had a pretty bad fall term of school that's going to set me back a bit as far as progress goes.
Hoping that 2015 is a good rebound year for me.

Eh, my year was so so. I guess I come out about even, which means 2015 can only be a fresh slate, right? But any year where I can say I met Ricardo Rodriguez for the first time and didn't make a COMPLETE fool of myself is decent.

-part to being an undiagnosed diabetic, I come down with a bad case of acute pancreatitis (inflammation of the pancreas) and spend 2 weeks in the hospital (5 days of which were in Intensive Care) and now I'm a type 1 diabetic and now have to take statins and the grand old age of 25 to keep my bastarding blood fat down.
-My Grandmother is diagnosed with breast cancer.
-3 months ago My aunt's lung cancer spread to her brain and was told she had 3 months...she died this past Saturday.
Yeah, take a running jump 2014.

I probably spent 20 percent of 2014 watching WWE Network so it was all good.

As years go for me this wasn't the best year ever, but it wasn't the worst. While I could certainly go out and better myself socially and find something better employment wise. At least I am able to afford a lot of life's necessitates and still have enough to be able to treat myself once in awhile. Health wise I am doing all right save for some stress related fatigue, but getting regular exercise and cutting out my dependency on caffeine seems to helping in that regards.
The only real negative for this year was losing a lot of famous people I grew up admiring: James Avery, The Ultimate Warrior, GWAR front man Dave Brockie, Game show host Geoff Edwards, Robin Williams to name a few.
Well the new year is right around the corner and with it brings new opportunities.

Ready to see this year go sayanora.
-Started the year off very sick was not fully recovered until late January
-Someone I work with decided to start being a pain in the ass for the sole purpose of being a pain in the ass
-Had to deal with a boss that had no business doing the job she was doing and it was obvious she had no clue how to deal with things. In the end she finally lost her job.
-Dad's mind is slowly going. I don't know if it is Alzheimers or result of the stroke he had back in 2011 or both
-Sometimes I feel like the severe depression I had back in 2010 is on the verge of returning. Oh well at least I have insurance now.
-The landlord is on my case about crap, and I have came to the conclusion that it is about wanting more money.
-Still have not found my significant other yet.
-My cat has had to be treated for fleas several times
-A close friend of mine was killed in a wreck while on vacation
That being said this year has had some great moments
-Went to my class reunion and it was fun to hang out with the old gang.
-Got back into watching football. Don't know why I quit a few years ago

I have always wanted to have sex with a black chick, and in 2014 I accomplished that goal. It was awesome. Shoutout to 2014.

Well, I'm glad to see 2014 has been terrible for others as well. I'd say this was easily the worst year of my life.
- I still can't find a job. I'd be tempted to say that I've applied to at least thousands of places since graduating college. No luck thus far. I decided to do some substitute teaching on the side to earn money while I'm looking. I paid a pretty steep price for the fingerprinting, license, and all of that. I've had a total of zero calls/openings since getting registered.
- My dad was diagnosed with cancer earlier in the year. He's in the clear now, but it was extremely scary for a while. Then, after surgery, he nearly died from whatever pain medication they gave him. But he is better now, so that is one great thing that came out of the year, I suppose.
- I've been engaged for quite a while now. I refuse to get married until I have a job or at least can get a house for us. I found what was basically our dream house and it looked like we had bought it. The 'buying process' went on for about six months. We had to postpone closing four times. On the fourth time, we're informed the insurance isn't good enough and they cancelled the sale. Certainly fishy, but there was nothing we could do. Now we're back to square one.
- We lost one of our cats, something I'm still not over. I know that sounds ridiculous, but I loved the annoying thing.
There were other 'wonderful' things throughout the year, but I feel weird complaining. It certainly could've been worse, but it definitely could've been better. If 2015 isn't better, I'm filing a formal complaint.
