This week on NXT, Renee Young and Corey Graves review the year 2014 at Full Sail, going over some of NXT's biggest and best moments, including the four live WWE Network specials, all the new faces, everyone who was called up to the WWE main roster this year, and the best matches.
And not only that, like last year, there's one new match to accompany all the clips. Two weeks ago, Charlotte successfully defended the NXT Women's Championship in a classic with Sasha Banks. On this NXT special, they meet again for the NXT Women's Championship, and this time, they have backup. Banks has Becky Lynch, whilst Charlotte has her Hall of Fame father, "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair. Will this factor change the outcome this time around? Find out from 4pm ET on the WWE Network!

Looking forward to the women getting time, but wasn't more filmed for this week?

It was split away from the episode it was filmed in. The rest of "Episode 2" airs as usual next week.
Very good little feature on Adrian Neville's homecoming, nice promos from Bálor and Itami, and then Kevin Owens, and an interesting backstage piece with Bayley highlighting her motivations for coming back from her knee injury.
As for Charlotte/Banks, not as complete as the R-Evolution match, but it played off that match in a couple of ways, and a very clever finish too. Sasha was goddamn fantastic again.

It is the only weekly WWE show that matters in my mind.

Sasha should be champ, damn it!
Good match by the two - not as good as the R Evolution one, but still a fine 14 minute match where, once again, both women looked like a million dollars.

Don't get me wrong, I was in no way talking down on it - I just said it wasn't as good as their first one, which to me, was probably the second best match of the PPV (R Evolution)

Since it pretty much sounds like just a recap show, should I skip it or is there new shit worth seeing sprinkled in?

It is the only weekly WWE show that matters in my mind. It's strange, but to me, the weekly show often feels like just a placeholder until the specials.

I really liked Sasha/Charlotte 2, and Charlotte has the nastiest Figure Four in wrestling.

But that's the thing....you are supposed to build up to the specials and if you have good wrestling and not too much BS, being stuff just to build up to the special is not that bad.

I finally got around to watching this episode. I already saw that package on Neville on This Week in WWE, but it's very good. If you haven't seen it, you should check it out.
Charlotte/Sasha II was very good. I laughed when Alex Riley mentioned the fruit basket from Reddit.

Here's the video about Neville if you can't watch NXT or This Week in WWE:
