Out of all the talented women that have emerged in the last 15 years, what non-signing bothers you the most?
For me (unsurprisingly)it's Mercedes Martinez. IMO who is just a good of performer is any top talent (man or woman) today. Has a unique look, can cut a go-home promo just as good as anyone, conditioning is phenomenal, and who in-ring work is only rivaled by the very best in industry (talk about in-ring general, this woman has carried so many performers who barely belonged in a wrestling ring to decent to good matches countless times). A couple try-outs and a tough enough invite was all that was offered to her. Couldn't get passed that stage because they didn't like her look.
Honorable Mentions: Madison Eagles, Sarah Stock, Cheerleader Melissa, Io & Mio Shirai, Sexy Star, Fabi Apache, Lufisto, and KANA.

For me it has to be Lacey.
Good on the mic, great ring psychology and great at working the crowd. In addition to that she was one of the better female pure wrestlers when she was around. I think she could have had some great feuds with Mickie James, Trish, Lita and any of the other diva's. Not too mention she could have been a great manager as well.
Honorable mention: Daizee Haze, Megumi Kudo

Cheerleader Melissa.
Like she's the one I don't understand the most. She embodies everything the diva's are supposedly about (Smart, Sexy, Powerful - or whatever that dumb catchphrase was). She has been the most consistent woman on the indies for 10 or so years now. I literally don't get why they never signed her. I understand why they haven't signed people like Mercedes or even if they hadn't signed someone like Kong because they don't quite fit what you'd expect from a WWE diva. But Melissa does - and she's a phenomenal wrestler too. It's really odd.
Candice LeRae is quickly ascending that ladder too and finding herself in the same boat as Melissa.

Not saying she's the best out there but she certainly used to fit the niche that they try to fill every few years. Katie Lea and Paige being in the same vein.

Cheerleader Melissa tops the list for me. I remember she did an interview where she had a tryout and she was working out with Finlay. They were wrestling around and Melissa just clocks Finlay in the mouth, which got a smile from Finlay. He ended up telling her that he didn't think WWE was for her and they'd really change up her style.

Daffney actually was signed to WWE-sort of. Right after WCW went out age spent a year or two in OVW but never got called to the main roster. I think Angelina Love ranks up there too. She was fresh off her hottest run in TNA when she had her green card issues and actually tried to contact WWE but got nothing out of it.

None because it's not like it really matters. You could bring in the entire Shimmer crew, it would mean less than nothing because the division is still fundamentally flawed.

But Barbara Blank did work for the company up until about 2012.

Sara Del Rey.
What? She was signed as a trainer not a wrestler. Entirely different type of contract.

Sarita/Sarah Stock.
Incredible wrestler and extremely attractive. Can't imagine owning a wrestling company that features women and not hiring her.

While I personally think Cheerleader Melissa is very attractive, I must say she does not possess that youthful, "cute" face WWE likes to have with their Divas. She is a handsome woman like Natalya. These kinds of women grow on you over time, and I think I appreciate them more as I get older. But I'm pretty far out of WWE's demographic for the Divas now. They could use more women like her. If they're not going to use Sara Del Rey have Melissa come in as the Ace/Monster from the indies. She is also a lesbian. That might have something to do with it.

Umm, I'm pretty sure she's not a lesbian, considering last time I heard: she was engaged to a guy.

I think if the WWE ever feels the urge to do a female four horseman stable with Charlotte, they should pick up Cheerleader Melissa for the enforcer role. She is an Anderson after all.

Cheerleader Melissa and Sarita are the two big ones. How they haven't been signed is beyond me. While they wouldn't be hired purely for their looks they're both good looking enough for WWE, and they can lead matches.
She's still young but if they don't sign Rosita, add her to the list too. She is good looking enough to be signed on looks alone, but the fact that she can wrestle some and has shown she's passionate about the business...WWE should be throwing money at her.

I didn't realize this but Melissa is only 32. She could still have a great run if she got picked up now.

Not necessarily a crime but I'm always surprised April Hunter never worked for WWE.

Melissa was supposed to work the Muhammad Hassan angle in 2005 doing the gimmick she eventually did in TNA (Raisha Saeed) it was supposed to be a trio of her Hassan and Diavari but was nixed. Would have been cool to see. Especially during that period where they were transitioning after loosing Gail, Jazz, Molly etc
