I've been reading Spider-Man since 1988. Enough with this Miles crap. I want to see the Spider-Man I grew up with...Peter Parker! There's no need for clones, multiple Spider Men or alternate versions of him. And really, if you're going to go with an alternate, people really want Miles? Use Miguel O'Hara if people are that hard on about alternates. That being said, I liked all 5 Spider Man movies just fine, some elements from the original 3 worked and some elements from ASM worked. I preferred Andrew and ASM 1 is my favorite of the 5. And now I am wondering how would a, ahem, SUPERIOR reboot go over?

I want Spider-Man ducking behind a desk talking about how everyone is complaining about his movies, and he's just sitting there...you know... And Billy. Billy must be a supporting character. And Hitler.

I want them to put Doppelganger in one of the movies, just because that would have to look absurd in live action.

Wasn't Tobey Maguire working on a live acted Robotech? Looks like it will die in developmental hell. Plus last thing we heard was they wouldn't be using the veritechs in the movie. That's like Star Wars without the light sabers.

what with all the Garfield hate? i thought he was a great spidey Some people think he's too cool, confident, and good-looking. Personally, I like Garfield as Spider-Man, but I think he has the stench of being part of a bad reboot series. He and Emma Stone had great chemistry (they're a real couple) and it's a shame those films (especially the second one) weren't better.

Just my opinion but Garfield was the right guy at the wrong time. Poor guy.

Toby was more awkard and geeky but Garfield did a ton of that and brought all the quips and constant jokes too

Elijah Wood would have made a better Peter Parker. He can play nerdy and is believable as a fighter, as he proved in Sin City.

what with all the Garfield hate? i thought he was a great spidey I don't know, the guy was born to play Spidey. If they want to replace him, and not do an origin, give Topher Grace a shot.
