Id say WCW 2000 but this year for WWE has been really bad and for examples
WWE 2014
Tried to push Batista before he was ready Daniel Bryan heel turn Cena vs Orton part infinity Brock Lesnar beats the streak Bryan's botched title run and subsequent injury CM Punk quits Brock Lesnar never defends the title Brock Lesnar completely dominates John Cena stop\go booking
so WWE 2014 wins for worst IMO and I do hope for better from WWE in 2015 or WWE might have something to worry about

This year has been an absolute trainwreck in real life with top stars getting injured and walking out as well as Vince himself going on record and burying his entire roster, and that's just scratching the surface. The product itself is absolute shit and has been for months. I've been watching for a long ass time and I can't remember it ever being as stale as this, not even during Cena's initial long as f*** reign. It is such garbage that it put me off nearly for good. I can't even be bothered to watch a PPV unless a match gets a startling amount of acclaim. I don't bother with NXT either. I don't think it's bad at all, just massively overrated because anything looks good in comparison to the main product. Latter-day WCW at least had trainwreck appeal and I love that shit. Raw is joyless in every way possible.

This year by far.
There have been very few bright spots in '14. Far more shit than good things that's for sure.

People voting for this year over basically any of those years clearly didn't live through them as well. I lived through WWE 2010 and both those WCW years, and the WCW one was FAR worse; 2010 you could go either way on, but comparing this year to those is just ridiculous.

This year is not even in the same universe as WCW in 1999 and 2000.

I saw a Judy Bagwell on a Pole Match. 2014 may not have been dynamic, but it wasn't "Fat Chick Thriller" bad.

This year isn't even as bad as 2013.

WCW 2000 was the worst year ever for wrestling. As bad as this year is, WCW 2000-2001 makes this year look spectacular. Hell, the WORST TNA has ever been looks great compared to that absolute abomination.

WCW 2000. New Blood Rising alone was worse than anything WWE did this year.

Why list WWE 2010? It was a huge improvement over 2009 and was also better than 2012. Better than this year too.
Anyway, yeah, WCW 2000.

I'd say WCW 2000. Hell, WWF 95 was far worse than this.

I was going to say pretty much exactly this. If you were actually watching WCW in 2000 there's no way you would compare WWE 2014 to it. WWE has sucked this year, but WCW 2000 was a gaping black hole surrounded by the wet, decomposing garbage that was WCW 99 and 01.

I don't think this year was that bad. WrestleMania was awesome. Looking back from 2005-2010 I don't think any of those years were better than this one.
I'd say 93 was the worst. I could at least watch the WCW PPV's from 99-00 on the Network. I couldn't make it through many 93 RAW's when I tried rewatching them. I picked up watching them all with 94 up to where they're at now in 96.

I don't know it's also an argument of desperate, relentless scratching and clawing in the face of imminent death of WCW 2000 against WWE's refusal to try in 2010-2014. WCW 2000 was on paper far worse than WWE is now, but that doesn't mean that I'd rather wather watch WWE. At least WCW is a real spectacle of shit, I'd rather watch them dive head first into a toilet than watch WWE sit on its hands.

I was a WCW mark first and foremost and as entertaining as that stuff is in hindsight, at the time I was watching my wrestling company of choice slowly dying.

2014 was horrible for the WWE business and booking moves but the actual talent on the shows have made it an average year, which considering the background they are working against, means they've done an excellent job.

There is no mainstream alternative for viewers or wrestlers in 2014, which is why I think it is worse than WCW in 2000.
