One thing I've always loved that most people hate is a raised ramp going straight to the ring apron, always thought it looks super cool. WCW, ECW and TNA have all used it yet I don't think WWE ever did.
So do you love this ramp or not?

I love the raised ramp in Virtual Pro Wrestling 2, if just for trolling entrants in the Rumble match via knocking them off before they even get to the ring.

I hated it. I hate ramps of any kind.

I like it well enough, sometimes, but it also seems to lead to injuries at times.

I like ramps on occasion, but not for a weekly show.

I like it on occasion but when it was a mainstay on Impact guys got cute with it so often it reached a point where its presence started to annoy me.

Stuff like running to the ring and clotheslining someone like Muta did sometimes, for instance, I think is acceptable, but I can see where it could lead to contrived stuff.

Just felt like every match wound up on the ramp, I don't think AJ Styles/Abyss had a single match against each other in that setting where they didn't do a spot where AJ tangled Abyss in the ropes, charged at him, only to get back body dropped back into the ring. Hernandez always had to do his jumping shoulder tackle from the ramp to the inside of the ring any time he wrestled. A lot of guys would do irish whip spots on the outside. I guess it's all relative, none of this stuff is just any less valid than planchas, apron moves or whatever stuff we see pretty regularly now, I think just having the raised ramp as a weekly feature started to normalize what to me is still a pretty cool visual.

Aesthetically it looked cool during a Clash of The Champions or a WCW or ECW pay-per-view. But something kind of bothers me about one side of the ring being asymmetrical to the other three sides.

I used to go to wrestling shows at Maple Leaf Gardens and always hated the ramp. Even as a kid, I realized it took an entire side of the ring out of play. What made it worse was the wrestlers had to go up a few steps to the ramp from the sideboards of the arena and it came across as total vanity. When the DCO brawl (which happened damn near every show) occurred, they would get to the end of the ramp and be careful not to trip down the steps. Was a kayfabe killer even to a kid.

It's different so I like it. Would shake up the look if WWE were to use it

I like it. I think it looks cool and adds new possibilities for spots. I get some of the criticism raised in this threads but I think it doesn't hurt to at least have it for some Pay-Per-Views or stuff like that.
I also love it in Fire Pro Wrestling Returns. It just brings a whole new dimension to the matches.

I used to like it when WCW used it, but it just looked out of place when used in TNA. Has WWF/E used the raised ramp? I want to say yes, but I'm drawing a blank right now.

Thought it looked really cool. I loved when WCW did it. So much so, that I used to use my NES and Sega Genesis boxes to create a ramp to my wrestling figures' ring.

It's a small show gimmick. Bigger companies shouldn't be using it.
