I'm out with my friends tonight and then it's a football away day tomorrow. It's going to cost me a few £s but it's worth it!

I'm working tonight. It's one of my scheduled holidays. Even if it wasn't I probably would've tried to pick it up anyway since it's doubletime and I don't really care about partying anymore. I traded to be off tomorrow though since I'm a college football freak and it's first year of the playoffs. Wow I'm boring middle-aged married guy.

Working until 9 tonight. I'll come home and likely play NBA 2K15 or GTA 5. Then work until 9 again tomorrow night.

Since we are on the west coast, we can watch the ball drop in Times Square at 9pm and then send the kids to bed. The wife and I will probably go to bed at about 11 ourselves. Tomorrow morning we are taking the kids to Universal Studios.

NYE: usually I do nothing, but there's a comedy show with Kumail Nanjiani, Natasha Leggaro, Moshe Kasher and Brent Weinbach that I bought tix to. I just saw that it sold out and now I don't want to go. I hate crowds, lines, etc. I honestly didn't think it would sell out because its being held in a spot that's never had a comedy show before (to my knowledge).I'm still gonna go and it'll be fun. That's a great lineup for $20. New Year's Day: Watch JCVD's "Wake of Death" and then record an episode of the JCVD PODCAST.

Work today, off tomorrow. Making a quick stop on the way home for munchies for tomorrow, then get the heck off the roads before the crazies are out. New year's day, FSU/Oregon game with said munchies and just resting up. 2015 is going to be a long, busy year

I'm watching the WWE Network until my girlfriend gets out of work. Then, we're going to see a movie, get dinner, and watch TV. I'm hoping to fall asleep early, as I'm already tired. Haha.
Tomorrow I'm hitting the gym (I'm not excited to see all the new sign ups) and then doing "Christmas" with my girlfriend's family who couldn't make it last week.

I'm going to dive into a dive I've dove into before.
But seriously, I'm going to my favorite place in town to drink, Ralph's Diner. It's not on a pub crawl, so that tends to curb the amount of "amateur night" drinkers. There's three bars in the place. There's the old diner car (hence the "diner" part of Ralph's Diner) that has a bar which is attached to an old warehouse that has a bar downstairs and a concert hall upstairs with yet another bar (it is f***ing genius!). So that takes care of the problem of having trouble getting a drink in a timely manner because of a bar being swamped. There's a patio, by which I mean you can drink right outside the place as long as you don't pass a partition, since the joint is deep into a parking lot it shares with a furniture store. So if you do feel claustrophobic inside from an influx of New Year's revelers you have an escape hatch. Being this far from the road also helps keep away said "amateur night" drinkers. Plus the diner car and the first floor of the warehouse's bar is chock full of cool music (mainly punk, some metal, tiny bit of pop and a whole lot of miscellaneous stuff) to make for a fun night. I have plans to get home that don't involve me driving, so that is good in terms of public safety. Although that tends to mean I tend to over do. Oh, well that'll be my problem tomorrow as I re-hydrate and watch the Twilight Zone marathon and keep tabs on the college games.
And a PSA for all of the social drinkers going out for "amateur night"- just because you're "cutting loose" by going out drinking when you usually spend most of the year not doing so. But that's no excuse for confusing "cutting loose" with thinking you're in The Purge. It's always weird how "social drinkers" never seem to have any social graces. Especially compared to people who go out somewhat regularly.

Not really into new years but being a sad bastard who is stuck in the middle of eastern Germany with nothing to do but drink beer and watch movies in a language that I can't understand, currently I'm halfway though watching flashdance in german.

My brother knows of a party. Which is better then going out to a bar or staying home so that.

Tomorrow I'm hitting the gym (I'm not excited to see all the new sign ups) Ugh. I was thinking of working out too, but yeah, I'm not excited about that prospect. I think if I get there early enough it'll still be quiet. I figure anyone who made a "resolution" to get healthy probably won't get started until at least the Monday after the weekend.
