I still remember the rumors that they wanted to give it to Ted Jr.... Ted Jr. Maybe wasnt a wise choice to end the streak but Could have run with a bigger push. He didn't even really get the chance to be a failure or a flop. He was just...nothing. I just think Its a waste that Lesnar's entire run only serves to make one guy. Whether it's Reigns, Ziggler or someone else, WWE are still stuck in that "only one guy matters" mindset. Ted Jr.'s good, he's not end the streak good. He does have some charisma, more than he gets credit for, but his mic skills are subpar and while he's a great wrestler he's not one in any particular awe-inspiring way, he's just very competent. I could've bought him as a solid upper-midcarder but I don't think main eventing was ever in the cards.

Ok for those who really don't want to see Cena with the title ( like me)try this scenario: Just as Cena is about to go in for the kill on Lesnar, Rollins' music hits and Rollins makes his way slowly to the ring. It's just enough of a distraction that Lesnar hits the F5 on Cena and gets the win. Rollins hits the ring and nails lLesnar with the briefcase and a curb stomp and pins him winning the belt. Shield three way for the belt at Wrestlemania

Shield three way for the belt at Wrestlemania I like this idea. Get three fresh stars in a title match. Cena can move on to the inevitable Rusev feud and Lesnar can put over a completely different person in a non title match on the way out (if Bryan returns, this is the only thing he can do that won't get entirely shit on if he's not in the title match). More guys can get "made" this way.

I think if there's to be a Shield three-way at Mania, Rollins cashing in at the Rumble isn't the way to do it. Short of a tie and a, "That's all we have time for, folks!" in the Rumble, the only organic way at that point to get the third guy in the match would be to have Rollins lose the title the next month which history shows isn't typically a good sign for a Money in the Bank winner's push's future prospects.
I say if you want to do it that way, have Ambrose win the Rumble, have Lesnar beat Cena, then have Reigns beat Lesnar for the title at Fast Life and immediately be cashed in on. Reason to have Ambrose win the Rumble rather than Reigns is just because he's more sympathetic and needs the win more; Reigns winning the title right now from a story perspective isn't that unusual. Ambrose would be absurd because he hasn't had a victory that's meant anything in the past seven months. Plus there's no real reason for there to be tension between Ambrose and Reigns if Ambrose wins the title then immediately loses it; he's just going for his due shot from losing it. If Reigns is getting in the way of him getting his hands on Rollins after he earned the chance and beat Reigns in the process though, then you can get some actual drama out of it.
