There have been some instances of entrance themes in recent years being almost shameless ripoffs of popular songs. The most recent example sounding almost identical to Iggy Azalea's Fancy. Another example is 3MB's theme which sounds a lot like Bohemian Like You. As well as Adam Rose's theme being a soundalike of World Goes Wild. Which I guess makes sense since he used the latter in his debut. I'm curious if there are there any other examples of this anyone has noticed in the 'E?

I just got in the mood to listen to World Goes Wild a few minutes ago, probably right before you made this thread. Thanks to that stupid autoplay thing Youtube now does, I got to go from that bit of awesomeness slamming straight into Break Away. That was a bad case of whiplash.
Also, listening to that first theme you linked to... Uh, I guess Cesaro no longer has the worst theme in the company. So yay.
While we're talking about that, Brie's theme is pretty transparently based on Poker Face.

Even when it does occur, it's never quite as blatant as WCW or TNA were about it, thankfully.

Nunzio's theme sounded like No Sleep Till Brooklyn.

The Dudebusters' theme, which even lets you know that it's ripping off Bittersweet Symphony in the title.

Alicia Fox's old theme sounded like an instrumental version of Nelly's Hot in Here

I can think of a lot, actually...
- Dean Malenko/Cesaro - Goldfinger (roughly) - Mick Foley - Wild Thing - Mickie James - Oh, Mickey - Balls Mahoney - Big Balls (it's practically a karaoke track, moreso than Tommy's Man in the Box ripoff) - Beaver Cleavage - Leave It To Beaver theme - Mr. Perfect - Theme from Exodus (he did use the original version for a few weeks before switching to the theme we know and love) - Mae Young's first theme - Glad All Over - The Rock - WWF rips ITSELF off from the Nation '98 theme. - UnAmericans - sounded like Unicron's theme from Transformers: The Movie.

Percy Watson's "Party On" is basically "Party Man" by Prince.

Not sure if I'd call it a ripoff, but I'd say that Tyler Breeze's theme song is an improved version of that "Selfie" song.

World Goes Wild sucks.
THERE, I SAID IT. Break Away is far better.
