So my local postbox now gets emptied at 9AM

Before christmas they stuck stickers on all the boxes stating that they can now collect anytime between 9am and the collection time listed on the box.
They still stuck to the printed time of 5:20, I know this because I used to pass the box on my way home from work and the van would always be parked up waiting down the clock.
Went to post some disks back to Amazon Lovefilm By Post (the british equivalent of what Netflix did before streaming - I prefer the quality of blu ray and there's alot of stuff prime instant video and netflix don't have on there) only to see the sticker was gone and the collection time had been changed to 9AM
so now if you have something to post it needs to be in the box by 9am to get there the next day, unless you fancy a 50 minute round walk including very steep hills in both directions to the sorting office which according to the friendly reminder on the box has a collection time of 6 still
I guess this is what happens when you sell what was a well performing state owned company to the private sector.
