The part thst annoys me still is thst putting Cesaro with Heyman could have been a good move. Heyman was fresh off the end of the Streak and had major credibility as a manager. But not ibky did Heyman spend more time talking up Lesnar, Ceasro also gooked to lose almost every match as a Heyman guy. As I said earlier, a feud with Big E for the IC belt would have been ideal. Or even have Cesaro be the one to end Ambrose's year long US title run. But having him lose every match while playing second fiddle to a guy who wasn't even on TV for months was an atrocious waste. Stop posting while drunk But yeah, teaming with Heyman wasn't the problem. Having Heyman solely talking about Brock was the problem.

Swagger is another guy who they fumbled. (Of course you could fill a wikipedia page with similar examples.) Remember how he tried to be Jericho-serious after winning the title instead of the big dumb jock he obviously is? He never quite recovered.
I still wish that instead he was a big dumb jock trying to cut Jericho-style serious big-word filled promos, in an intentionally funny way.

To be fair didn't he get that spot because D Mac slapped his girl or something?

I don't do much extroverted displaying of my wrestling fandom these days, maybe the occasioanl clap or a COME ON when I get vaguely invested in a product that seems to willfully not want people to care about large percentages of the product and it's performers, but watching Wrestlemania 30 with my friends who are admittedly lapsed fans and watching the final few moments of that battle royal with Antonio Cesaro proving to the world once and for all that ANTONIO CESARO IS A f***ING MACHINE is the only time the three of us in I don't know how many years combined of watching WWE have ever given a f*** about something that much to the poing where we're jumping up and down the front room, the halls, the kitchen and doing somersaults and high fives and shouting at the top of our lungs COMPLETELY f***ING LOSING IT.
Like, the closest I can think is when the Undertaker came back at Judgement Day 2000 and we got so overly excited that my friend Ian asked me to give him the insane tombstone that Undertake gave Shane right then and there on the spot. The thing is, it's reasonable that we'd go bananas for Taker or Bryan winning the main event. This was a battle royale containing The Big Show who despite his best years being so far behind him that they're now
How they f***ed it up beyond repair is almost to be commended. If incompetence was an art these motherf***ers would be Pai Mei.

WWE should have just given him a mobster gimmick and said he was Italian
No one can relate to a Swiss wrestler. There's no character there for him to play. The Swiss are neutral, boring and efficient. Hardly makes for a thrilling wrestler.

Not only that, they gave him a new nickname to coincide with his incredibly over signature move, gave him a new jacket with said nickname on it, ect and he procedes to STOP doing said incredibly over move because reasons. That was the crap icing on the shit cake that is Cesaro's post WrestleMania XXX career.

The botching of Cesaro was a huge reason for me canceling my Network subscription.
