He's getting a match at WrestleMania probably against Triple H. They should build it as he just hates the McMahon's for putting WCW out of business and wants his revenge. They could turn it into this, as he is seeing the same mistakes being made that killed WCW and thats why he is going to take out the Authority.

Until there is an explanation, how could you possibly judge? It's been over a month, so far it's been nothing. You can judge that part at least. Whole lotta nothing.

Guys just imagine how annoying it would be for Sting to come out cutting promos every other week and Triple H addressing this every week on Raw and Smackdown. Can we not just allow for some level of mystique in characters and WWE storylines? Can we not just let this be unpredictable with our Batman-like character popping up at random?
Apparently in this day and age, everyone NEEDS answers NOW. I guess I'm one of the stupid ones, because I really don't need this to be called out and addressed again and again. I know Sting will return again and I don't know when. I just know it will be soon and HHH will not be happy. Can't that be enough?

Y'know? I like Sting showing up sporadically and not being here every week. It helps build anticipation to when he'll show up to save the day from evil.

He showed up and then got out before anyone could turn on him

Here's the bigger issue, to me at least.
When Sting did his whole "avenging spirit" schtick in WCW, it had a reason behind it. We knew the history of Sting/Hogan/nWo/etc and so everything he did, every mysterious appearance and sporadic save felt engaging because of thier history.
With this, its just, "Hey. Here's Sting, you know him. And now he's playing with these OTHER guys!" There's no character motivation. There was no build up and no reason for him to even be there. WWE was desperate to get the "surprise" factor during their free network month they didn't even stop to think if anything they're doing with Sting even makes sense.

Just replace "scientists" with "writers".

Surely there's a middle ground where you're not just paying lip service to something and actually developing it. Another example has been Brock's entire title 'run'. If something isn't actually playing out on-screen in SOME fashion, you're not actually doing anything with it.

This is the problem with HHH and Steph as on-screen performers. They can never be outdone. They always have some sort of backup plan, which is problematic in a story because it can never be resolved. Victories for the heroes last about a month before normal service is resumed. It's not about wanting answers NOW. We already know the answers because we've seen them time and time again. Sting may return, and do something, but what's the point if the change he causes is undone quickly afterwards?

Until there is an explanation, how could you possibly judge? Because introducing something, having it just kind of happen, and then doing nothing to develop or advance it in any way, is called "bad writing" and completely open to being judged.

What a complete waste post-Taker. And I also strongly disagreed with Vince's views on Austin's podcast about the title not being the most important thing. Everyone up to this point should have been revolved around the title and getting to Brock. And he should've been on TV more, even if that means recorded promos from Stanford.
