Ambrose would benefit most. Reigns is their next main event star and winning the Rumble when compared to his almost inevitable Mania win will be less than a footnote. Ziggler wouldn't benefit either as I don't see him being given the main event push so him winning will be kind odd. Bryan's already over and although I don't necessarily subscribe to the idea that the most over guys shouldn't win it, at a time like this when they're looking to build new stars to pad out the main event picture, I'm not sure.
So:
Byran: Over already and doesn't need it
Reigns: Will be getting the big push so won't need it
Ziggler: Kinda been around for a while to the point where it'll almost seem an afterthought
Ambrose: I don't think he'll be main eventing for a few months but he can 'dine out' on '2015 RR winner' to enhance is cause in the meantime and take that steam into whatever he does at Mania, so he's my pick

It was a no Brainer that Bryan should have won last years Rumble (or still this year at the time this post was made). I'm still baffled that they thought Batista winning it was a good idea.
Anyway that's irrelevant now.
Heart says Bryan but head says Reigns
I like Roman but I would prefer someone like Ziggler or Bryan to win it.
Honestly you don't need to be Nostradamus to predict how well this is going to go with the crowd if Reigns eliminates Bryan and Ziggler etc in the final lot.

Yeah, Reigns is pretty well screwed now if they want to him to win AND still be a face at the end of it. I mean, he can't eliminate Bryan to win it because that's just asking for trouble. They'll probably rally around the guy in the final two with him if Bryan is gone before that, regardless of who it is. It's a just a no-win situation for him unless they have a plan for a heel turn.

i'm a little bummed out right now. i was hopping for Ziggler or even Ambrose to win. but now that Bryan is back, both of their chances just went to snowball in hell level. they both are going to be pushed back down to the mid-card. but as for who will win this year, i'm still going with Reigns. Vince & Company i guarantee will have the mentality of "we gave them a Cinderella ending last year, we can't do that again dammit!"

I still think Reigns will win until I see what The Authority does with Bryan next week.

Honestly, there hasn't been a good Royal Rumble winner since 2009, so Roman Reigns.

Bryan wins some sort of tournament on raw and is announced to be #30. At the rumble Bryan is laid out backstage by unknown assailants and Rey comes out at #30 to be booed one last time.
The Big Show then wins the Rumble.

In a major swerve, Cena beats Brock and Rusev wins the Rumble. Bam! Cena vs Rusev at Wrestlemania! Honestly, this is why I'm calling "Someone Else"- if anyone else but Reigns wins, I'm calling it being Cena- simply because it seems like the only way that fans will get back on Reigns's side is through Reigns losing the Rumble. Fans, in this era, WANT underdogs and want people who they feel are being "held back", so the only way to make Reigns work as a star is to make people truly believe he's being held back by the WWE. The fact WWE's done the "loser of the World Title match enters the Rumble" thing a lot recently makes it seem like they're due for a "someone loses the World Title match, enters the Rumble, and wins that" finish, to boot.

I love Del Rio, but I think that year he was a disappointing sudden choice to win a disappointing Royal Rumble, and they didn't really go on to justify the win like they did with Yokozuna (a past newcomer winner).

On one hand, after Bryan's promo tonight, it seems like having anybody but him win would be idiotic. On the other hand, this is WWE we're talking about, so I've learned not to ever trust them fully. I really want to say Bryan, but given the company we're dealing with, I'm still thinking Reigns wins at the moment.

To be honest I am slightly annoyed at WWE for telling us prior to the Rumble that Bryan was going to be in it. Had he came out number 30 as he should have done last year it would have been a great moment and redemption for last year.
Announcing it makes me slightly suspicious about whether he will win or not. Maybe they felt it might bump network subscriptions by letting us know in advance I guess, but it could have been a really cool moment.
Heart says Bryan wins, head is unsure.

Reigns wins. I'm pretty sure of that.
I'm hoping Ziggler wins though, man he was always a great in ring wrestler but he has looked like a star this year.

I have a sneaky feeling that Bryan hasn't been cleared for the Royal Rumble and they are using this to get major heel heat on DA Authority and Seth Rollins.

I don't know why this is even so hard for WWE. This crowd didn't care about hardly anything tonight, including the return of the authority and the prospect that Edge might be murdered, but when Bryan announced his return, the crowd popped like Hogan had just slammed Andre. There's the guy the fans want to see right now. There will be time to push Roman later. And the reason he's lagging behind the other babyfaces is because he's still not that great in the ring and hasn't developed an interesting personality yet, not because he just doesn't win enough.
With that being said, I'd bet money in Roman Reigns winning. If there is one thing I've learned from 2014, its that this company is every bit as bullheaded and out of touch as every dirt sheet ever accused them of being.

final four - bryan, ziggler, reigns and rollins (which in itself would be odd as they usually prefer to have the heels outnumber the faces at the end but other than Rusev who else is there on the heel side?). torn between ziggler and bryan for the winner but will go with bryan for the "makeup call" from last year. don;t see them going DB over Brock though so either cenawinslol at RR and loses it at EC to rollins or rollins cashes in at some point pre-WM so it's rollins/bryan for the belt at WM.
lesnar/reigns can meet non title at WM- say reigns beats Lesnar during EC but doesn;t actually end up with the belt, lesnar wants revenge at mania because brock had gone through "X" guys before a fresh reigns came in.
