Did anyone else feel that, between RAW and the App, almost every mid-carder got promo time this week?
Naomi, The Usos, Miz, Mizdow (as much as he can), Luke Harper, Ziggler, Ryback, Cesaro and a few more that my memory cannot place. It felt like an effort to make people feel these guys have a reason for being and doing as opposed to just being employed.
RAW kind of felt fresh and different this week because of it.... until that abortion of an end segment anyway.

Outside of the stagnant main event scene I'd argue RAW has been pretty good lately.
The issue with the bad main event is each show starts and ends like shit on a regular basis. Oh, and there's like 3 recaps of the shit during the part of RAW I like. Go figure. It's like they won't let me escape the shit.

I can't remember when I noticed it, but then it started to feel like it was just being shoved in our face at all costs. I didn't like that feeling. And I know why: Because we have been so conditioned to not care what the Usos or Luke Harper have to say, so it felt weird that they were talking.
The only thing was that a lot of them were just "exposition" which in one sense is helpful because we can finally get to know these guys and girls, but how about some promos/vignettes that are used to go after future opponents? Have a reason and a point to them. Heels should be calling out Cena, Ziggler, Reigns, and Bryan. Faces should be pointing out and putting their nose in the business of heel shenanigans.
And most of all, this needs to happen every week for all of 2015 (forever.) Have three undercard guys or girls every show get some time like that on the two main shows. Not on Superstars or Main Event, or the app, but on the main shows. There's enough time for that and their usual overload of the main event storyline in five hours of television. Shoot clever and meaningful interviews/vignettes that give each character meaning and purpose. Don't just throw out five guys in a row out there to shoot on why they're the baddest guys on the planet. This isn't Tough Enough. These guys and girls are the characters on the show.
Have the creative team think of solid and logical scenarios for these guys and girls that play to each person's strength, and let them execute them. Simple as that.

Like I said, if that Raw was any indication, WWE needs to run a house the same night they run Raw every week. The best paced show in months.
