Watched this last night on Netflix. Really cool movie. Chris Evans was great in it. Really original movie in a sea of sequals and remakes. One of the better movies of the year. Check it out if you haven't.

f***ing A! Somebody else has seen this movie too! Awesome! I saw it last week while visiting my parent's house for Christmas. My dad rented it at the local movie store(yeah, there's still a mom and pop video store near their house). Anyways, i paid half attention to it for the first 20 minutes, but it finally sucked me in. This was a really great movie and I cannot recommend it enough. The visuals are fantastic and the performances from Chris Evans, Tilda Swinton, Ed Harris, and Song Kang-ho were spot on. Check this movie out.

I didn't find the cubes of food the poor people were being fed that disgusting. That's a good source of protein.
But the fight scenes were AMAZING. especially in the tunnel.

I love it. A good handful around here do, this is like the 5th thread about it.
I love Asian cinematography, especially for action. SO much more visceral than the Hollywood stuff.

Man this is like the third thread in a few weeks of this movie including mine. Anyways I thought the movie was very good. It had a few major flaws but it few moments of great brilliance. To quote myself: The more I think about the ending, the more I dislike it. If it was the point that humanity is stupid, short sighted, selfish, and impulsive no matter if you're good or bad then it's a good ending but I honestly don't think that was the point they were trying to make. Still it's a very good movie with some major flaws but some great brilliance in it as well

I can just copy/paste my last actual post on this forum I liked it a lot, but also found it so stupid and I'm really torn on if I'd actually recommend anyone else to watch it.

I still hate the name snowpiercer. You know what that means in Canada? It means "I'm going to take a snowpiercer (PISS!) in this snow. Watch my back."

REALLY want to see this and have had it on my to-watch list for months now. Yet weirdly they still haven't, and don't show any inclination to, release a UK bluray of it. If there's still no news on that in a few months I figured I'd have to get an import instead.

Interesting movie. The plot was good, and the ending I was like "what da hell?"
My favorite scene is also the schoolroom scene.
