What about Kelsey Grammar's Beast? Any extended scenes with him? They only had him available for a single day, as he was off filming Expendables 3 and Transformers 4 during DOFP's production, so I would say that it would be extremely unlikely. Pity, as he was fantastic as Beast.

Honestly, unless we're talking about a Blade Runner level recut, I can't imagine the movie being that distinct since she was only featured in a few scenes before it was cut.

Honestly, unless we're talking about a Blade Runner level recut, I can't imagine the movie being that distinct since she was only featured in a few scenes before it was cut. Considering a lot of people have bitched and moaned about how Mystique's mutation doesn't help the Sentinels adapt to other powers, I figure there's going to be a lot of focus on Rogue's mutation being the other piece of the puzzle. Pretty much making the future part of the story Rogue-centric without her actually being on-screen.

Does summer 2015 = a release date. I'm pretty sure summer is 3 months long. I need more exact information. And yes I'm going to buy the shit out of this.

I still don't understand why they would name the whole version after a not exactly extremely popular character who only appears in a couple of scenes. It's like releasing a new version of Star Trek: Generations with previously cut out footage, but instead it being a "Director's cut", or "Extended", or "Enterprise version", they call it "Chekov cut". Because it's the specifically easily identifiable different cut. It wouldn't be the "director's cut" because it's not the director's final vision. It's not the "Extended cut" because it's not just adding things, but swapping things. The elements with Rogue changes the flow of the movie, making it a different edit entirely. That's why it's the "Rogue cut" it's the cut of the movie that tells the story with Rogue in it. It also makes it a lot easier to categorize than, say, all the edits of Army of Darkness we got in the early 2000s when DVD started to really take off.
