Hans Gruber was like Flair. You loved to hate him. He was a son of a bitch but he had style. That was the 80's dude
Billy Zabka got heat from me in every movie he was in. Karate Kid was his master piece but that one with Demi Moore and John Cussak (One Crazy Summer, I think), Zabka was on as well
My ultimate vote for 80's heel goes to The Russian/Cuban/Nicaraguan armed forces that invaded the US in Red Dawn. That movie is the 1980's in a nutshell and I cannot let this thread go on without mentioning it.
Vladek Sheybal (1923–1992): The bearded scrawny Soviet general was an absolute SOB in every movie he was in and this was no acception. If any of you watched Shogun from James Clavel, he was the Captain general of the Black Ship. I give him ho table mention for being so evil and hated for such brief screen time

Oh crap! Can I add Frank Langella's Skeletor to the mix? He was awesome too!
Man, looking at all these villains you guys have posted/shared, I can't believe so many great/fun heels came from the 80's.
