The Internet really hates spiders. Only one I'm scared of is the Brazilian Wandering Spider for obvious reasons.

I am fine with them, though the hairs would worry me. I am kind of surprised this icks you, given you love scorpions and they're brothers from another mother. Or sisters from another mister, if you will. Smaller spiders and scorpions worry me more. Generally speaking, if an arachnid's big, it's usually got weaker poison, since you just don't need much poison to take prey at this size. Emperor Scorpion, same deal, it just tears prey apart, instead of spending valuable nutrients to concoct powerful venom. See a tiny scorpion with thin pincers? Then you have a problem. If it doesn't need strong arms to grip prey, it's because they're dead almost instantly. It is a beautiful specimen of its species and I'm certainly fascinated by it. But that doesn't mean I'd like to wake up one morning and find one crawling on me.

Steve Backshall is the man. Saw him do the Bullet Ant ritual in a program he did for Discovery.

I am fine with them, though the hairs would worry me. The hairs are very effective at what they do. I had a Mexican Red Knee Tarantula scrape some of it's hairs off onto my hand once, by the time I managed to put it down and go wash my hands, which was probably about a minute or so, the area where they landed was red and very itchy and stayed that way for most of the day. I wouldn't like to imagine what it's like to get any of them anywhere near your face.

The Sydney Funnel Web Spider is the one that scares me, it has the aggression of a pit bull.
