Humble Brag Alert: I was in Las Vegas last year (big deal for me.. I live in Australia) and I did not win any amount higher then $2.. Think I only gambled away about $100 though. Yeah I was just there for Penn & Teller, buffets, and the lights You did it right. Penn and Teller were awesome when I saw them (Fun fact: I've been within arms' length of Penn and of Shad Gaspard. Penn was more intimidating), and the buffets were fantastic.

Most I've lost in a night was 2k, let's just say that I was livid for about a week. I've also lost 1200 on betting that The Rebels could actually win a game in the NCAA tournament.

I've lost $20 on the lottery once and $60 on a machine once. Gambling is definitely not for people with little disposable income.

Reading the responses yeah I'm definitely in the minority when it comes to this. I used to have a big problem with it. Hadn't made a bet in 2 years before this week. All worked out Colts covered and I walked out good after a week of a comp suite and all the food and drinks I could stomach. Can't beat that. Had they not though yeah I would've been pretty f**ked for a while and had to go on a budget. Get your bet in? Yeah. Also took Lions with the points and on the Moneyline. Suffice to say people in the sportsbook were going crazy over that pass interference then no pass interference play. I really think there was some corrupt stuff there. Most people either bet Dallas minus the points or Lions on the Moneyline. When the favorite wins but not covers is when the house wins the most. Lot of conspiracy theories going around there. Still walked out close to even though.
