If a Sting match can elicit half the reaction of Hogan/Rock then I am excited

Hogan/Rock was a classic. Hogan carried the match and the crowd in the palm of his hands. Rock while a star came off as an afterthought. If a Sting match can elicit half the reaction of Hogan/Rock then I am excited

I'd rather see Triple H vs. Dolph Ziggler, because I want to see them try to rebuild the momentum that Ziggler had in the immediate aftermath of Survivor Series, but if they want to do Triple H vs. Sting, you won't hear a complaint from me. Triple H has been an ace in the ring this year, so he could theoretically be one of the few people who could drag a good enough match out of Sting.

Obviously Triple H is not on a Rock, Austin or Hogan level... I wonder, when Hogan came back and DIDNT wrestle Austin at Mania 18, were any fans disapointed at the time when he faced Rock instead? Yes.

I would be fine with Sting vs. J&J Security, let alone Rollins.

Yeah, screw those lower guys getting a pay day as long as the already very wealthy Triple H and Sting get some extra cash. Zero interest in Sting getting in the ring at all, but whatever. I'll suffer if Triple H can drag a passable match out of him, which I assume he can in some form. I just think its one of those things, that when it actually happens and Sting is stood in the ring at Mania, and the crowd is going crazy (possibly) that you will get caught up in and enjoy. Yeah it's not something I actively want to see but it should prove entertaining once it starts.

My choice is not on the list, namely 'I would always have preferred Sting vs. Hunter over Sting vs. Taker because Hunter can actually still go and doesn't look like a corpse.'

At his age, Sting needs someone who can carry him and HHH is a better choice to do that as hr's less ravaged than Taker. Even if Taker was younger and in better condition, I have not forgotten how he miraculously forgot how to wrestle whenever he was put up against WCW guys during the invasion so I don't feel he deserve a win over a legendary WCW name like Sting.
