nah, if he stayed in TNA he never would've been "crazy-ass R-Truth" which was his most entertaining period. he would've just stuck around the midcard doing nothing like he was when he left.

Obviously money wise WWE is the much better option and with the Team Pacman stuff and 3LK being mainly a tag team thing the WWE was the better option. However his run at the start of TNA was phenominal, it was a shame that he fell down the card so much cause Killings V Styles could have been a defining feud for years in TNA.

Truth's career worked out well in terms of where he's been. He was in WWE for a cup of coffee, giving him the exposure that he parlayed into becoming NWA Champ in the early TNA days. The TNA run helped him improve and return to WWE with some fanfare and in a good spot.
I do wish his WWE run had gone better though, when he first came back and had the crowd entrance he seemed like he could've been a big deal. Then I remember reading newz about how WWE officials thought he couldn't work, after that he sort of faded into obscurity/random tag team land.

I don't know guys TNA made him those great pretend movie posters at the end there. If he stuck around they might've made a couple more.

r-truth is one of the most protected jobbers in wwe
He gets ocassional wins even if he doesnt had a feud on the main shows (like defeating rose or dallas)

I see threads like this and think some guys here are really just not realizing what better off means...
Unless you're going by strict MARK like thinking of he was world champ in TNA and isn't in WWE. Dude has a shit ton more money and financial stability. More mainstream attention, has been able to rap. Is very tight with Vince and will probably be an agent and NXT mainstay.
Sure though he can be a world champ in a f***ing bingo hall performing for pennys, and god hope he doesn't get injured. Cause Vince won't be there to pay for those medical bills, then again neither is Dixie.

He makes more money in the WWE, and those paychecks are never late. He has traveled all over the world with the WWE, farther than TNA would have ever taken him. He's wrestled The Rock in his comeback match, and main evented a pay per view with John Cena for the WWE championship. He has paid it forward and put over the next generation of men who will practice his craft. He is said to be a good friend with Vincent Kennedy McMahon.
No, he would not have been better off in TNA.

Random Note: R Truth is one of those wrestlers that's almost always out in the "public scene". Basically if there's a PR thing there's a good chance he's one of the wrestlers there He's also been off the road lately because his new(est?) child was born just over a month ago. The wrestling mark in me is secretly hoping his child is a boy and he named him Jimmy!
