Seriously, it takes up most of the slots of Cartoon Network's current lineup, and it doesnt even have that many episodes. Its almost as if theyre trying to make us hate it. Even when they were seemingly obsessed with scooby doo in the late 90s/early 2000s it wasnt this bad.

Cartoon Network always gets goofed up on something silly.
They decided they were going to push Teen Titans.... again. That's it. They feel it's strong enough to carry weak blocks of programming.
I have nothing personal against the show, though I do hate when things gets spammed lazily. They have literally lifetimes of stuff they could try and fit, but they don't because that's hard and enough people watch.
I'd mark so hard for a stray Cow and Chicken or Courage The Cowardly Dog, but it's whatever.

I know what you mean. It's getting Spongebob-levels of overplaying. Stuff like this makes me hate modern cable TV.

I really like TTG, but I hope they don't overexpose it and make people not care as much.

We gotta make Teen Titans Go look strong So Teen Titans Go is the Roman Reigns of the Cartoon Network line up? I guess that makes Adventure Time and Regular Show the Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose of CN.

I miss the Attidude era when you had Cow and Chicken, Jonny Bravo, Powerpuff Girls, Ed Edd n Eddy, Dexters lab etc.
None of this PG era crap.

And I thought it was just me. It's as if every hour or two, they run an episode or two of TTG.
It's doubly weird because Cartoon Network isn't lacking in programming. They have so many good shows getting new episodes.
-Regular Show -Adventure Time (I don't enjoy it, but I know many people who do) -Steven Universe -Gumball -Uncle Grandpa -Clarence -TTG
That's the most stacked it's been since the Cartoon Cartoons were still going. And yet, they favor one so highly above the rest? I wouldn't want any of those being on all the time. None of them have enough episodes to justify it.

I was gonna say Gumball is the Dean Ambrose of CN, because they always lose in the end. Gumball is more the Cesaro of the line up. It's really good and some people like it but it never gets over with the majority of fans for some reason and always takes a backseat. Steven Universe is Ziggler. Looks amazing when it's on but is rarely on the main card when it should be. Honestly I'm kind of shocked that TTG is shown as much as it is. Especially with the lack of episodes and Adventure Time being their headline show and plenty of episodes to full blocks with.

It's not that Go is bad, or even disrespectful to the original or anything like that. It's just that the first Titans show was so damn good, it wouldn't be able to equal it through gags alone.

At least it's not Johnny Test. I can at least stomach TTG. Johnny Test makes me want to shove a spoon up my ass.

I don't care the reason I was just happy there was something I could marathon watch on Saturday when I was laid out sick It's not that Go is bad, or even disrespectful to the original or anything like that. It's just that the first Titans show was so damn good, it wouldn't be able to equal it through gags alone. It's funny because my brother who didn't like the action show watches the hell out of Go. Personally, I like both about the same for different reasons obviously... would like one of Cartoon Network's DC Action cartoons to actually stick around again though...

If only they were this obsessed with the previous Teen Titans show back when they still aired new episodes.

That's how I feel too. TTG is entertaining in its own right, but the original Teen Titans is my second favorite superhero cartoon after Batman: TAS and one of my favorite shows, period. It blended the best attributes of Western and Eastern animation. It looked slick but boasted a subdued, realistic color palette. The main characters had simple exteriors but deep characterization. The action was child-appropriate but intense. It wasn't bound to any manga (at least not in the way that a show like DBZ was) but had a distinct, continual set of arcs. I'm glad that they at least brought back the original voice cast for TTG.
