Not technically a wrestling game, but does anyone else find Trish Stratus's inclusion in WWE Immortals to be random? Everyone else in the game has at least had a match within the last two years. She hasn't wrestled since 2011.

Okay, I've mentioned this in other threads like this, but in some areas, they made sense, and in other cases, they didn't. It's not a WWE game, WCW game, ECW game nor a TNA game. It's the Def Jam games and I will give my take on who I thought were the most random inclusions. DEF JAM VENDETTA:My opinion: Prior to its release, I remember looking at the rappers who were in the game. Now I know that the game mostly had rappers who were signed with Def Jam at the time, and I was familiar with everyone except for Joe Budden. I remember I then looked him up and heard some stuff from him and was impressed. I even bought his first album when it came out. I just thought he was a random pick because he was starting out around that time. DEF JAM FIGHT FOR NY- Henry Rollins
- Danny Trejo
- Omar Epps
- Carmen Electra
- Kimora Lee
- Cindy Johnson
- Chris Lighty
- Comp
- Crazy Legs
- Jacob Arabo
- Bless
My opinion: I noticed that several rappers in this game were not signed to Def Jam, which was alright with me. However, I also noticed that some of the real people in this game were not rappers. I remember being surprised at hearing that Carmen Electra was going to be in the game back in the day, same with Henry Rollins and Danny Trejo, not that I minded them in the game by any means. I still wonder how Omar Epps got to be in the game. I can somehow understand Kimora Lee being in the game, being that she was married to Russell Simmons at the time. Chris Lighty (RIP) was CEO of Violator Entertainment, so he was connected to hip-hop, but I wonder how EA got him to be in the game. Jacob was understandable as he had jewelry done for hip-hop stars back in the day, though I thought it was funny how he was also a playable character in the game. As for Comp and Bless, well I was already familiar with Comp because of his songs in Def Jam Vendetta, one of which was also on the soundtrack to Cradle 2 The Grave. However, he was still not a very well-known rapper. As for Bless, well I had not heard of him until before this game came out, but I later learned that the creators managed to get him because it was mostly done by EA Canada, and Bless is Canadian. All I can say is that I'm glad I found out about him because he is actually a good rapper.

"Yourself" in Wrestlemania Challenge for the NES. Just the fact that they used a spot in a very early WWF video game on a fictional character when possible slots were very limited and real-life the roster was totally stacked at the time has always confused me.

Mike Rotunda and Eddie Gilbert in the WCW NES game...did any kid EVER want to play as anyone other than Sting? I didn't have that game, but I would have played as Eddie Gilbert. I didn't care for Sting much as a young child. I did love the Warriors, Rick Steiner, Eddie Gilbert, and Hayes.

Is it weird that Viscera was "unlockable" by creating him in the first Smackdown game What's even weirder is that they didn't put a standing splash to use for his finish. Especially since Mark Henry was in the game and was also using a splash to finish matches as well.
