I say take Zayn out and replace him with Tyler Breeze. Breeze would be the "Reigns" of the group, the "one of these things is not like the others" guy who leaves everyone pleasantly surprised by how well he fits in.

Only if they all wear spandex zentai like Kidd and Cesaro did on Monday.
Except for Owens, who will have to wear an actual latex (or silicone) gimp suit.

I still hold out hope that Skip Sheffield can come back and stop that monster Ryback; Skip's the only one with the strength to match him! Where's that lunk been, anyways? I think in canon WWE has admitted it's the same person. That was literally a major point in a segment last week... If we are using Zayn as anything other than a never say die babyface, just no. Absolutely.

When you said NXT 5, I thought you were referring the ill-fated NXT Redemption. That could have meant a return of Percy Watson, which I would fully support.
That being said, I don't want to see the current crop NXT stars to come up as a group. They all have legs to stand on their own.

Noooooo! I've grown to hate the indy vs WWE angle that the company is so keen on pushing. I don't care where they've come from I just like their current NXT (or WWE) incarnations, they should be treated like individual "WWE superstars" not an indy super-group. Acknowledging their past is fine but it shouldn't be their defining characteristic. The exception is Owens hating that his contemporaries had passed him by and now being desperate to make up for lost time, that's original and compelling so all the more reason not to but him in a stable. In retrospect that's a large part of why The Shield worked, with Ohno they would have been that indy stable, with Reigns they were just a part of WWE. Hell many still tried to dismissively label them NXT/RoH/indy wrestlers despite none of those labels applying to all three of them so who knows what it would be like if they actually could be classed that way. No one here has said to use them as indy guys, just NXT guys who want to make the jump together.

No thanks.
Not only are 90% of the stables in the WWE absolute shit, but I don't even think most of those superstars the OP mentioned are even ready to be called up. No reason why they can't be called up one by one, as all are talented enough to succeed as singles wrestlers.
