Since every one already has an idea of what will happen to Cap at the end of Civil War, I want to see Nebula take the Infinity Gauntlet from Thanos as in the comics and return the heroes from the dead. Before Thanos can fully grasp what has happened, a mighty shield smacks him right in his shit. Just have that be the last shot of Infinity War 1. Shield smacks Thanos, credits roll. Instant hype for the second part.

Without a lot of hard work from Marvel to repair Sony's damage, replacing Cap with Spidey is gonna be like Paul Roma joining the Four Horsemen.
To be honest, I'd rather see Marvel reach an agreement with Fox to use the X-Men.

I have no desire to see Miles Morales as Spider Man. Peter Parker was Spider Man when he first showed up in 1962, Peter Parker was Spider Man when i first started reading in 1988. Peter Parker IS Spider Man. If you MUST change up Spider Man's identity then use Miguel O'Hara. And even that i don't want to see.

Fox is making money off X-Men so they have no reason to deal. If the new Fantastic Four movie bombs they might be willing to make a deal on that property.

I'll miss Garfield. Even more if they bring back Tobey for no good reason. Charisma of a mannequin. To each their own, I thought his Peter was great enough to mostly make up for his okayish Spider-Man.

I really, really should read USM, shouldn't I? Given the support Miles has well, everywhere. Is he worth making Bendis feel popular? I don't actually know much about him, just, he'd be fresh at least. I am so f***ing sick of dead Uncle Ben at this point, to be honest. while I much prefer to see Parker... I agree that they seriously should just skip the origin story and have him show up as Spider-man already... We know the damned story we don't need to see it on film every time they decide they don't like the version they were going with.

Well given how big X-Men are and how everyone is suppose to hate mutants but loves super hero's in the same universe is just weird.

I feel bad for Garfield if all of this is true. They really should've kept him and just have his Spider-Man cross over to the MCU. It wouldn't have been difficult to do.

As it's own universe X-Men is depressing fanfic. Why the hell else would Xavier have the X-Men save people and wear masks if not because he was following an example? Also anyone who makes the tired point ''Why do they hate mutants and not superheroes" shows their ignorance right there. Outside of the F4 and the Avengers even in comics most other superheroes arretts distrusted and even then Avengers besides IM and Cap all pretty much all wear masks and the F4 have been hated at times too. If we had Mutants in their own universe. -Rogue would never get actual powers. -No Deadpool -No Angel, Beast, QS, SW, Iceman, Wolverine or anyone as Avengers and being positive role models to other mutants. Sorry for the long post but I'm sick of seeing ''X-Men works best as it's own universe'' opinion backed up by nothing whatsoever.

I think it means in the context of the film universe, as the Avengers are pretty beloved by the general public after the Battle of New York and at one point in Thor: The Dark World everyone doesn't leave the library so they can see Thor fight Malekith. Having said that it could easily change based on how Age of Ultron ends and Civil War is right around the corner.

Oh God I hope this is true. Also f*** it #donaldgloverforspiderman I would be far more interested in a Miles Morales Spiderman movie than Peter Parker the Third. The guy who is currently Spidey, and was born to play the role, agrees with you. Garfield has said he wants to pass the torch to Miles Morales, and have him take over for Peter.

Garfield has said he wants to pass the torch to Miles Morales, and have him take over for Peter. It's funny how the guy that was born to play the role didn't do as good of a job as the guy before him. Anyway, I'm happy about this news. Spider-Man is supposed to be Marvel's flagship character, I love the MCU more than the comics now but a Marvel Universe without Spider-Man is like a DC Universe without Superman or Batman. And before someone points to the Arrowverse, the creators themselves have said they could appear at some point just not the same versions from the current films. As for the X-Men, I agree that it works better on its own. It never made sense to me that average citizens of the Marvel Universe love super powered people but only if they got their powers from literally any other source than being naturally born with them.
