Saw something Cracked just like this, although it could have gone into detail more: LANGUAGE AND ADAM TOD BROWN WARNING:www.cracked.com/blog/what-5-dead-celebrities-would-be-up-to-today/Thought about making a thread this for a while. What would you think a famous dead person would be doing today if they had not passed. I'll start with: Bill Hicks The controversial comedian. He will most probably continue doing his stand up. Eventually get a TV deal on FX, HBO, IFC, or Showtime or any similar channel. Will maybe have a featured spot on 'The Daily Show with Jon Stewart' similar to what Lewis Black and John Hodgeman has. Oh and he will probably the subject to many controversies with social media campaigns (most likely labelled a sexist, and un American).. but he won't give a shit.

Make me wonder how Beyonce's career would have gone if Aaliyah was still here. Same for Selena being here and Jennifer never attempting her singing career cause she was already acting at that point.

Up until today I'd never considered that The Beatles could have reunited for Live Aid had John not been killed. Quite a what if.

"I don't think Winston Churchill would eat at a place called Der Weinerschnitzel!" It'd be interesting to see Bill Hicks with a podcast. The guy started doing stand up in high school, lived in L.A. once after high school, again near the end of his life and in between moved back to his hometown of Houston, Texas, worked the road, moved to New York to do their comedy scene, became a household name in the U.K. and performed on Late Night/Late Show with David Letterman (including the last appearance that wouldn't make air for fifteen years!). So the guy knows his fair share of stand up comics. He probably could've beaten Maron to the punch with a WTF-type show had he lived.

Marilyn Monroe would talk smack about young actresses on TMZ. There, now I posted it in the right thread

All members of the original 27 club would have started sucking in the 70s, and even harder in the 80s, then would do some pretty sweet shit in the 90s, then would have died a few years ago and not sold nearly as many records.

Phil Hartman would have had a 2nd career in the Colbert type thing.

I figure that Elvis would have kept performing as a Vegas-exclusive act for a long time, with an occasional "Elvis sings the..." album coming out every couple of years. Once in a while I'd hear a song on the radio that I could easily imagine him using in his act (Nickelback's "Rock Star", for one).

If dead celebrities were still alive they would be banging on the lids of their coffins.

Don't forget Jay-Z. If 2Pac and Notorious were still around in 1997-98 does Jay-Z get as big as he did?

After 1970, he should have packed his shit and left Vegas. By the January 1971 Las Vegas engagement, most of the fire you see in Elvis's 1969 shows are gone. And you can thank Las Vegas and Col. Tom Parker for that.

The comparisons with Eminem and Cobain really blew my mind.

It makes me kind of sad to think of Aaliyah suddenly switching from R&B to putting out electronic dance tracks once 2008-2009 rolls around.

If Peter Steele had of lived I think he would have put one more album out with Type O Negative, then the band would've ended and he would've quitely faded away.

I can see Freddie Mercury doing work and touring with Queen up until the late 90's before he retired and only doing special appearances like the Olympics

Meanwhile, Beyonce would have been fine. They had completely different singing styles. J-Lo is an interesting one...

It's interesting to think of AC/DC continuing with Bon Scott.

Bruce Lee, was doing mixed martial arts over 20 years before UFC came along. If he hadn't died young he'd have not only become an international movie-star but changed the face of martial arts even more than he did.

I'd think that The Dark Knight Rises would have been a very different film if Heath Ledger had not died..
Well they at least would of acknowledged the Joker existed.
OK just to note the filmmakers say they did not acknowledge the Joker out of respect for Ledger.. This isn't a WWE Benoit situation.
