No autograph or conversation you just shake their hand and walk away. If so who and how much would you pay?

That King of the Hill episode made me want to shake George W. Bush's hand to see if it really is a limp weak handshake.

Nah. I even struggle to pay for autographs and will only pay if it's someone I really admire because I think paying for autographs is silly and a cash grab.

Pay Just to shake somebody's hand? No, I'll keep my money and make up a cool story about meeting that person that everybody else would believe.

No, and I refuse to pay for an autograph or picture. A famous person should appreciate their fans enough to do that kind of stuff for free. Your fans already spend money on you and think you are great, the least you can do is take a selfie with them or something.
And while I appreciate that sometimes they just want to buy some groceries in peace or something, it comes with the territory. Sometimes I bump into my boss in public when the last thing I want to think about is work, but I'm still nice to her anyway because I appreciate that she pays me.

Unlikely, unless it was very cheap and someone I really, really liked, but still, I'm kind of a cheap bastard.

No, but sometimes when you shake hands you conceal bills in them and say, "Thanks Senator!" you're not paying for the handshake, really, maybe to have a forest demolished, or a bribe a cop or pay for anonymous gay sex.

To me a handshake with a celebrity means more than an Autograph. When I met Bret Hart afew years back I was more excited that I shook his hand rather than got his Autograph.
But no, No I wouldn't pay for the honour.
I don't agree with having to pay for an Autograph and it's the same with a Handshake.

Do I have to use my hand? If I can substitute a particular body part, and depending on who it was, then perhaps
