Would not shock me if there was some bad feelings towards JR. I've heard a bunch of people say that working under him was not fun. Still you should never use twitter like that.

J.R. would stomp a mudhole into Josh if they ever came face to face. Hell of a slobberknocker. 5 stars. - Dave Meltzer

JR seems like someone who's as bad as everyone else in wrestling, but by allowing himself to be humiliated so many times on camera, the majority of the fans have bought his attempts to paint himself as Good ol' JR, kindly grandfatherly figure, hook, line and sinker. The guy has so many people who resent him it can't be all down to his talent relations role. Bischoff hated him in WCW, Russo and Ferrara loathed him before he had that role in the WWF and Josh seems to dislike him and they were in the same company when he was no longer in that role.

I also think it's worth mentioning that TNA has spent a majority of their existence having ex WWE guys come in and shoot on how much they hated WWE so to a lot of people this comes off as LOLTNA. But yes I do get how a lot of people would take JR's side, but I also don't completely think he's innocent either. But I'm also sure to a lot of people being micromanaged like they were at times by WWE can't have been fun. Again though, doesn't mean you should have full reign to say whatever you want.

When was the last time that happened on a regular basis? It's been a long time since I've watched but back when I did it wasn't a regular occurrence by any means, heck, the horrible TNA-ised versions of WWE names and characters were seemingly done too with people like EC3, D.O.C and so on coming in as their own guys but people here have a funny obsession with keeping the meme alive. I find it hard to believe that many see this as anything but someone who didn't like JR reacting to him in a ratty way, it's not some OMG Shoot WWE sux moment, just someone tweeting without engaging their brain. It reflects badly on Josh, but TNA have much bigger issues than someone being snide on social media.

Well how in anyway did UFC win? Listening to JR's podcast for the past year, I've lost some respect for him he comes off as Bitter and a corporate kiss ass. I see why wwe loved humiliating him in oklahama city, they knew he'd never complain about it.
I mean this isn't going to do anything for Josh Matthews career tho, no one watches tna lol.

I believe the last time TNA took a shot at WWE or a WWE employee was the Destination America debut. Matthews made a little dig at Michael Cole and he and Taz yukked it up.
Before that I remember TNA taking a shot at WWE for a PPV (Maybe Night Of Champions) by tagging themselves in a WWE related twitter thing and saying they do better then WWE. You then have Dixie's subtle digs at Vince in a lot of her interviews that she does.
It's not happening every week but it definitely happens a few times a year. I mean TNA has even dedicated characters to ripping on WWE in the past. They had a fat oily guy because WWE had a fat oily guy. VKM existed simply to take shots at WWE and try to challenge Vince to a fight, Rhino "burned" the "ECW Title" because WWECW wasn't to his liking, Matt Morgans debut featured him immediately taking a shot at the WWE, The "Mahi Mahi" incident, Eric Bischoff taking shots at WWE every week in early 2010 etc etc.

I'm just confused why Josh tweeted @twitter. Does he want twitter admin to weigh in with their thoughts?

Jim Ross at his absolute worst is still better than Josh Matthews.
Not that I think JR is a saint, but Josh comes off like a huge douchebag

I like that Josh didn't even directly link JR to the his tweet.
Straight Shooting Josh Matthews, but only when no one is looking.

I don't get the whole "Well JR must've done something wrong for Josh to hate him" argument. If Josh seriously had a problem with something he said or did, he should've taken issue with him right then and there when he was still in the company. Anyone who has some sense and decency doesn't wait until they're gone to take an uncalled for shot at them on Twitter of all places. Had JR said something off-color about Josh or hell even TNA, then it would've been justified, but JR wasn't being cross with anyone, so there was just not reason at all for that except to show how snarky and unpleasant you are. I'm sure JR has been a dick to people in the past and there are plenty of people who aren't afraid to say it, but it's downright childish and cowardly to say that in that kind of setting. People seem to forget that if you keep reminding people of their past demons as if they're here to stay, it's not gonna help them on a path to becoming a better person. We're all flawed, some more than others, but pretending like you're above someone because of that doesn't actually mean you are.
And really, I wouldn't cite Russo and Ed Ferrara as good examples, since they showed just how petty and stoogish they can be about someone's medical condition.

I can't wait for JR to bury Matthews on his podcast next week and polish Dixie's knob all in a span of about 2 minutes.
