And farewell to quite possibly the most uncomfortable, icky episode I've ever watched.

She was just very 'witchy' that season. I think she tried to be the second Jerri (please tell me you know who SHE is!) but just acted too harsh overall.

And farewell to quite possibly the most uncomfortable, icky episode I've ever watched. A certain episode from Thailand was still more cringe worthy I think.

Holy crap, so much weird shit happened this ep. Mike loses his mind, joins the misfits, and Will does something nice but then goes all evil, Shirin becomes sympathetic then maybe evil, Jenn wants to stay in the game, Dan gets an extra jury vote, lots of yelling, a giant fruity drink, some chicken and waffles, Mike and Shirin both vote for Jenn, good grief.

Who would have guessed that Will was a psychopath?
Look dude, be pissed that people questioned your generosity, but shit, don't verbally assault somebody to the point they break down in tears. What kind of man does that?
I thought it was ballsy for Mike to try to screw everybody over in the auction, but once he even thought about it, he had to go through with it. People aren't going to remember that he didn't do it. They're going to remember that he wanted to.
Also, Jenn's exit speech was great. She was pretty awesome.

I adore Jenn and her original no collar alliance. This season is going to suffer not having them around and ease the insanity of the f***ing lunatics out there.

f***in' Will is the last No-Collar standing? Why? Also, I feel Shirin was justified in her actions. Will was a colossal jackass, then goes and asks for a favor? He deserved that middle finger.

Cause I'd mostly watch to see Brian go Mr. Freeze on everyone. I just re-watched Thailand a few months ago and it's probably the darkest season in terms of overall tone. Grindgate is indeed icky and the entire post-merge is told through the sleazy lens of Brian. The cast is also incredibly bizarre because it consists of people who are either totally boring or totally crazy with no real middle ground. It's a bit of a funsuck, similar to how this current season is playing out. The final immunity challenge and Tribal Council set are amazing though.

Honestly at this point I'd rather watch Ponderosa interrupted with the challenge and the final vote. I really couldn't care about anyone left, save maybe Shirin but we all know she's gone, it's obvious every idiot in the Blue/white/Will alliance thinks they are in some perfect final alliance and are just waiting until they are threatened to act. Great terrible timing Mike, you got out Joe but his prophecy on your doom is come home to roost.
The only reason I still watch is to see people keep loading the cannons for what I hope is a very vitriolic final jury. I usually hate those but these guys deserve to face the hell they created head on.

I'm glad the running subplot of Rodney's protein references came full circle with the presentation of an actual steak.

Cause I'd mostly watch to see Brian go Mr. Freeze on everyone. Watch it. I, for one, think it's better (and funnier!) than people say. The survivor historians podcast (which is awesome; people should totally listen to it if they don't already) episodes on it are spot on, in my opinion, and my favorite season they've covered so far. That one and Pearl Islands. But yea, I say go for it :)

can't wait to see how tyler's actions work out next week. That's ballsy Eh nothing will change at this point. The core are tight by necessity now rather than any sort of strategy or desire to go on together. Mike needs Dan to stay alive, Rodney needs Dan for his vote, and Dan needs those two because he cannot communicate on any remotely human level with anyone else. Sierra is a spineless worthless wallflower follower by now, Shirin has no reason to protect anyone else and Will is just along for the ride, to hang out with the cool guys. If Tyler tries anything he jumps ahead of Shirin in the next out category, because Carolyn and him missed any chance to actually leverage their swing vote position and I don't think she has any idea how to use her idol except to save herself one more day. Dan has two votes now and Mike has an Idol, and Rodney has to know by now that he only has a chance sitting next to those two. Actually I think Tyler is already ahead of Shirin in next on the block. Dan wants to keep both Rodney and Mike (which is actually the only wise thing I think a blue collar has done) Mike knows he can't go after Rodney but if he can break up his happy side project he will be contented and I think Will thinks he's a bro too enough to go along with it. Neither he or Shirin are going to win any challenges and are opposite sides of the same no threat coin. Nobody will let Shirin in on a secret plan because she hates them all and nobody will rely on will as their lynch pin because he is dumb and uninspired and likely to slip up and neither are winning a challenge unless it's something specially tailored to them. Tyler and Carolyn could win a challenge and blue loves to destroy any potential threat.
