I'm surprised Nina didn't think they made it rain because she was deaf.

Here's my review/analysis of the episode: www.rickey.org/?p=277663 But one thing I want to get into is just how bad these people are at keeping their emotions in check. I can't remember the last time I was this ready for a tribe shuffle this early. I generally think this is a cast with huge potential, but the last few episodes have really shown how obnoxious some of these people can be around each other, and I think a lot of it is this White Collar vs. Blue Collar vs. No Collar context. On the one hand, I found Nina's persecution complex to be super frustrating, since she seems to want to be accepted without putting the work in. Yes, everyone deserves respect in a game like Survivor; the same level of respect that would be accorded to any person you’d meet, inside or outside the game. But in Survivor, not everyone deserves acceptance and trust. Those things have to be earned, and they have no reason to accept or trust Nina, considering she voted against them last week. You could probably argue that she wouldn’t have done so had they made her feel more included in the group, but for all of Nina’s accusations toward the group over how they’ve made their mind up about her without giving her a chance, she’s just as guilty of the same pre-judgment. Hali and Joe were right to call her out for not trying to meet them halfway. And yet, Nina kind of has a legitimate gripe. Seriously, what other reason could they POSSIBLY have had for leaving her out of the challenge than to exclude her? "We thought we could be faster without her" / "We were worried she'd trip on one of the obstacles." Joe, she's deaf, not blind. And your rationale would carry more weight if you didn't take big, lumbering asshole Will into the challenge, considering how he performed in the last challenge. I could easily see how Nina would think they were discriminating against her due to her condition. But she spent so much time letting her emotions rule the day that her valid opinions ("Will is useless and you're crazy to keep him over me!") fell on deaf ears. Yes, I know what I did there.

well Nina was all kinds of terrible as a player. Really hope the Joaquin/Tyler alliance takes off. Not much of Max shown this week. Thought he would get the most edits this season. I don't know whose side to take on the blue collar tribe. they all seem obnoxious and all have a bit too much pride.

Preseason I thought for sure I would like White Collar but all of them except for Shirin are coming off like stick in the mud game bots.
Aside from Dan I am not liking the long term prospects of anyone on Blue Collar though I hope I am wrong and Rodney and Sierra who is bubbly and fun in her secret scenes on the CBS site go far.

I know producers have their reasons for picking who they pick for the show and sometimes, viewers really don't understand what they saw in certain contestants.
That's a pretty common occurrence, but what on earth did they see in Nina?
Look, I get that she's at a disadvantage being deaf and all, but she did NOTHING at all in her eight days there other than establish herself as the tribe's outcast by constantly falling back on her disability that NOBODY else was fixated on.
Yeah, the No Collars messed up in the challenge by bizarrely sidelining Nina, but she brought nothing to the table.
I think Will is on borrowed time to because he's just in really poor shape and constantly gassed. Dan's probably in worse physical shape than Will, but he's holding his own in challenges.
Does anybody else find this season lacking in relatable contestants to get behind? If I had to pick my favourite so far, I'd probably have to go with Tyler.

My super crush this season is definitely Hali. Who knows of No Collar can stop losing so she can stick around for awhile though.

Damn that was a nailbiter. Blue Collar's going to Tribal for the first time. Let's see what develops.

When PROBST is warning you about coming across too sexist, you just might be too sexist.

So they decided to split in case of an idol but didn't even bother showing them deciding to do it.
